The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

We love to watch 'Jack Frost', although it makes us all cry every time ⛄

Holliewantstobehot · 22/11/2017 16:26

I love Arthur Christmas. Dd and DS love home alone, especially one and two. And we all love Harry potter, which although not Christmas films always feel christmassy to me maybe because of Mrs Weasleys jumpers.

Our favourite is The Muppets Christmas Carol. Genuinely the best on-screen rendition of Dickens that I've seen. We love the twist of the traditional Victorian tale with a bit of Muppet music. And "Fozzywig" is just genius.

We all love Elf and my son adores Arthur Christmas

DoneAdulting · 22/11/2017 16:41

Elf

Personally Santa Claus the movie is my all time favourite.

However, upon asking the kids The Polar Express has been voted as our family one. I have to say it is an amazing film, the story and the idea captivate from my dd at 4 to my dss at 14 (& fil at 85). Definitely a hot chocolate, selection box treats and snuggles in our pj's on Christmas night!

noplease · 22/11/2017 17:03

We used to watch the Father Christmas short cartoon film every Christmas Eve, always my favourite and still is 🎅

ButterflyOfFreedom · 22/11/2017 17:13

Arthur Christmas!

starlight36 · 22/11/2017 17:21

Elf.
‘Santa Claus - I know him’ the most quoted line in our house.

sharond101 · 22/11/2017 17:23

Elf, over and over again.

WitchesHatRim · 22/11/2017 17:27

Mary Poppins every time.

It reminds me of when I was a child and I used to watch it with my Granny. I used to love it.

The songs always remind me of her.

Home Alone, so much nostalgia...

We also love Jingle All The Way, pure cheese ! 🎄

FoofFighter · 22/11/2017 18:27

I like festive slushy rom coms like The Holiday and Love Actually, but for proper feel good family time it's got to be Home Alone! Even just thinking about the scene of the choir singers in the church singing Oh Holy Night has me craving a mince pie.

Which I wish Now TV would put up as you have 2 and 3 on and I can't let my 4yo watch them without having seen #1 first!

mrsreynolds · 22/11/2017 18:31

Every Xmas eve we watch home alone 😁 it's a classic

WiggleYourWoo · 22/11/2017 18:33

Definitely Home alone 👍

edwardcullensotherwoman · 22/11/2017 18:35

Our favourite as a family is Arthur Christmas - even the little ones sit to watch it. We’re usually stocked up with popcorn, Pringles and celebrations when we watch it too Grin

Taffeta · 22/11/2017 18:47

Elf - when they start singing by Central Park at the end I start blabbing and the DC look at me like I’m mad Blush

Ecadia · 22/11/2017 18:49

Elf and the Grinch. Dc find the Grinch hilarious

WinnerWinnerChickenDinner0 · 22/11/2017 18:52

Mary Poppins. Not particularly Christmas y but still love it 😍

TellMeItsNotTrue · 22/11/2017 18:54

Elf can pretty much be recited by all of us, and Saving Christmas has become a new favourite in the past two years, we love Bernard!
