Christmas is just around the corner which for many means the present lists are out and shopping mode is on. Thinking of what special gifts to get for everyone can be quite a task, however good old homemade treats often spread Christmas joy the most. Cadbury would like to know your homemade gift ideas using chocolate.

Do you create little Christmas chocolate hampers or gift bags? Perhaps you bake a chocolate cake and use individual chocolates or crumbled Flake or Crunchie as decoration? Or maybe you melt your favourite Cadbury chocolate and turn it into lollipops or transform it into your own bespoke chocolate bark to hand out?

Whatever your homemade chocolate gift ideas, share them on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw where one lucky MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

I buy lots of individual chocolate items, and wrap them up so they look like something else. It makes it more exciting for my niece and nephew because they don't know what they are getting. Plus, I always try to buy them something they haven't tried before. They love it because once all their big presents are open, they have lots of little ones to look forward to!

Make chocolate Christmas Tree lollipops. Mix melted choc with Rice Krispies and pour into cone shape cooking paper, put stick in middle. When set remove the paper and decorate. Yum!

With four children, gifts for teachers, classroom assistants and then Sunday school teachers at church, buying Christmas gifts is too expensive. We alternate between making Christmas cupcakes one year and homemade chocolates the next. When we make chocolates, it is usually chocolate truffles or little florentine bites - we usually use cornflakes, hazelnuts and leftover chocolate - mix everything together and then "paint" the mixture quite thickly onto greaseproof paper - when left to cool, the florentines can then be peeled off and displayed in a small box.

We mix granola or muesli with melted dark chocolate and put a teaspoon of the mixture in a sweet case to set. Tiny pieces of shopped dried apricot or coconut flakes look great on top.

Melt good quality dark chocolate and use skewers to dip in and coat raspberries. Put on baking paper to dry. DD doesn't like dark chocolate but she loves making these.
