We can’t always wake up looking as bright eyed as we’d like. From the children keeping you awake, to staying up late to watch your favourite show or checking your Facebook (or Mumsnet!) account, it can all take a toll on us come morning.

Here’s what Liz Earle say “We are proud to announce that our secret for visibly brighter eyes, NEW Superskin™ Eye Cream, has arrived. This luxuriously hydrating new innovation features a powerful botanical blend which helps to visibly lift and firm, while also reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. Used regularly, eyes appear brighter, refreshed and wide awake. Available now"! Check out the new Superskin™ eyecream here.

So, what are your top tips for waking up looking bright eyed? Do you leave the iPad, laptops and phones downstairs when you go to bed? Maybe you have a no-caffeine policy after dinner? Or maybe it’s as simple as getting a good night’s sleep. Whatever secret you turn to to help you wake up feeling fresh, Liz Earle wants to know it.

Everyone who posts on the thread with their tips will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky Mumsnetter will win the complete Liz Earle Superskin™ range, worth £305*. The range includes:

Superskin™ Eye Cream worth £35

Don't drink any fluids after 9pm to avoid any disturbed sleep and sleep with earplugs in. It's the quality of sleep than will assist in waking up with a spring in your step!

nicole101 · 22/04/2016 01:03

Getting to sleep early-ish and staying hydrated. :)

nonnyno · 22/04/2016 08:46

Always drink a full glass of water first thing in the morning - you will be dehydrated after a night's sleep. Also don't lie in - get up straight away.

I know I always feel better if I eat before 6pm, a cup of chamomile tea at 9pm and read in bed (which is probably only a couple of pages before I fall asleep) I do need at least 8 hours sleep.

Lasplin84 · 22/04/2016 09:43

Making sure you have drunk plenty of water the day before, if I am dehrydrated I have a bad nights sleep and wake up tired.

Elizasmum02 · 22/04/2016 11:55

i always find drinking lavender tea before bed makes me wake up feeling well rested and energetic

piggypoo · 22/04/2016 12:20

Cleanse your face before bed, and next morning, splash your face with cold water.

MillyVanilli222 · 22/04/2016 15:24

Drink plenty of water during the day and always have a glass by your bed for when you wake up!

suffy41 · 22/04/2016 16:58

A warm bath and a glass of water and no phones or tech of any kind in the room and always remove all traces of makeup before bed. I sleep much better without blinking lights and phone noises in the room. It's nice to go to sleep with your skin feeling fresh and clean.

Lauren1983 · 22/04/2016 18:40

Lots of sleep, regular exercise and a good moisturiser!

pinkspideruk · 22/04/2016 18:56

I drink plenty of water throughout the day, I make sure to wash my face and remove any make up before bed and then add a moisturiser. I also have no screens in the bedroom

ricola1 · 22/04/2016 19:58

Lots and lots of sleep and kids stay at nanny's for the night!

Jocelynne123 · 22/04/2016 20:14

I make sure that I get enough sleep by going to bed at a reasonable time, no phone or ipad an hour before bed. I always take off my makeup and sleep in a very dark room xx

pgwynne · 22/04/2016 20:20

Cut out the caffeine and replace with herbal tea such as lemon & Ginger. Leave your phone switched off and hopefully you should have a better nights sleep.

christinelucey · 23/04/2016 08:31

Don't have any mobile phones or tablets switched on at bedtime

barbsbarbs · 23/04/2016 09:28

lots of water, a comfy fresh bed, a cup of tea first thing and a chance to relax before the onslaught.

Marg2k8 · 23/04/2016 19:06

Don't go to sleep worrying about things. It achieves nothing.
