To help celebrate the new Pregnancy Tracker app, sponsored by Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure - we'd love to hear all about your pregnancy cravings.

The new app guides you through pregnancy week by week, sharing expert info and the experiences of thousands of other women who've been through the same things at each stage.

We all know that pregnancy can make people do some rather strange things - and 90% of pregnant women will experience antenatal cravings. Some can't get enough of one specific food, while others find themselves creating flavour combinations they'd never have dreamed of pre-pregnancy.

From inhaling everything sweet in two seconds flat, to middle of the night munching, or the sudden urge to taste things that aren't even food - what did you crave while waiting for your baby to arrive?

Share your wacky and wonderful pregnancy cravings with us - and help make other pregnant women currently experiencing them feel a little better about their latest hormone-induced feast.

Anyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for the store of your choice PLUS a month's supply of Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure!

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Savaloy and chip shop chips. I would walk to the high street on my lunch break to get some and then when I got home in the evening I would order it for dinner too. It was a running joke to say I was eating for 6 (it was only the 1 and she was 5lb 13oz born)

Jocelynne123 · 07/03/2016 12:34

I was obsessed with mashed potato. I ate so much of it that I ended up allergic to it.
I did not have any strange cravings but I ate mashed potato until it was coming out of my ears xx

With my eldest my cravings were completely absurd! I craved sponges! Not the cake kind oh no, i mean the washing up kind. It was so bad that i had to cut up cubes of them and carry them in a food bag in my handbag. I didn't swallow them it was the texture of chewing them that i loved.

I ate spoonful's or marmite when I was pregnant - loved it!

topsy73 · 07/03/2016 15:19

it was Opal Fruits for me AKA Starburst...couldn't get enough of them!

hermagesty · 07/03/2016 15:26

I craved anything sweet .Which obviously was not good for the post baby waistline!!

mumsnit · 07/03/2016 15:50

Dry pasta Blush I ate bags of it!! No idea what that was all about Shock

Ryancrawshaw · 07/03/2016 19:53

mcdonalds curry sauce - could not get enough of the stuff

HELENSCRESCENT · 07/03/2016 19:59

With my third it was yellow lenor, I was desperate to drink it but resisted and would sit smelling instead, it would actually make me salivate. Would have to stop for sniff in the supermarket too 😂

Natasha7 · 07/03/2016 20:01

Big homegrown tomatoes, olives and crackers

jhm3jls · 07/03/2016 20:32

I loved the smell of flash kitchen spray and cleaned my kitchen units at least 10 times a day. Also craved avocado and cheese!

claza93 · 07/03/2016 22:13

Not so much a craving but an obsession with Twix's - if I didn't have at least one a day I turned into a crazed monster! No wonder I put on so much weight haha!

pinkspideruk · 07/03/2016 22:57

Ice and a weird craving to eat soap - i literally wanted to devour it by the bar and had to restrain myself from licking it in the shower!

tracyuk55 · 07/03/2016 22:58

Slush puppies in the middle of winter! My poor hubby had to take 50 mile round trips just to purchase them for me!

fridaykitten · 07/03/2016 23:13

None with DS but with DD i craved cheese and chocolate together. Id get cheese slices and wrap them round squares of chocolate....do not fancy eating that now!

Sarah250187 · 07/03/2016 23:25

I craved chips with chocolate!! Xx

tishist · 07/03/2016 23:55

Creme eggs - they're so sickly to me now

GeorgeW78 · 07/03/2016 23:56

I haven't had any, well no more than usual!

MTBMummy · 08/03/2016 10:05

I had a few with DD (1) but none the second time round with DS, probably because the thought of any food was enough to have me gagging

With DD the 2 weirdest were Cheesey Doritos with a piece of cheap and super sweet white chocolate sandwiched in the middle, had to be doritos and had to be really sweet white chocolate. I normally can't stand either.

The other was Frankfurters raw, dipped in sugar, I could easily eat a pack of 10 in a single sitting.
