To help celebrate the new Pregnancy Tracker app, sponsored by Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure - we'd love to hear all about your pregnancy cravings.

The new app guides you through pregnancy week by week, sharing expert info and the experiences of thousands of other women who've been through the same things at each stage.

We all know that pregnancy can make people do some rather strange things - and 90% of pregnant women will experience antenatal cravings. Some can't get enough of one specific food, while others find themselves creating flavour combinations they'd never have dreamed of pre-pregnancy.

From inhaling everything sweet in two seconds flat, to middle of the night munching, or the sudden urge to taste things that aren't even food - what did you crave while waiting for your baby to arrive?

Share your wacky and wonderful pregnancy cravings with us - and help make other pregnant women currently experiencing them feel a little better about their latest hormone-induced feast.

Anyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for the store of your choice PLUS a month's supply of Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure!

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

I can't get enough of wet flannel! I love to suck cold water off a freshly washed flannel. Something about the cotton taste and the texture is really satisfying!

Feltedbump · 23/02/2016 19:58

Lager- Ice cold and fizzy. Most inappropriate..... Luckily I found a 0% alcohol lager in the supermarkets!!! Normally I wouldn't touch the stuff but I was almost desperate for it!

Chalk with the first and pickled beetroot with the second!

ShatnersBassoon · 24/02/2016 09:56

Satsumas, but they gave me raging heartburn, so I had to have a Gaviscon chaser after each one.

sarahbrokenshire · 24/02/2016 11:49

forkhandles4candles · 24/02/2016 17:59

No cravngs. I was so expecting pickled onions, as they are legendary and I love them anyway. But nothing.....

stewaris · 24/02/2016 19:41

Heinz salad cream with everything including salad cream sandwiches, casseroles and stews and on it's own with a long handled spoon. I used to love and I can no longer face it.

emmamcmahon · 24/02/2016 20:37

Pease pudding and caramel icecream. Together Confused.
When my Mum was pregnant with me she used to scrape salt and vinegar crisps down orange ice lollies. Makes you wonder!!!!

dannykapur · 24/02/2016 21:09

Tonic water. I didn't want to drink anything else!

sarah861421 · 24/02/2016 21:16

I ate ice pops. I was up to 50 a day towards the end

buckley1983 · 24/02/2016 22:40

I had a constant craving for massive juicy queen olives! You couldn't hold me back at the salad bar! I still like them, but not with the same intensity that I did while preggers!! :)

Dolallytats · 25/02/2016 08:35

I wanted liver with DC1, Rich Tea biscuits with DC2 and didn't get any with DC3.

I wanted to feel the need for gherkins and wallpaper paste or something else really outlandish, but mine were boringly normal Smile

sadiewoohoo · 25/02/2016 10:40

I always had to have 2 slice of toast - one with grilled banana on top and the other with pickled beetroot!

robbo86otm · 25/02/2016 11:37

Marmite and cheese sandwiches

roostastyle · 25/02/2016 11:57

Was on low carb diet (LCHF) when I got pregnant with DD & by 7 weeks had to drop it as cravings for carbs & aversion to meat & fat were so strong. Ate nothing but carbs for first 3 days: kitchen was strewn with bread products. After I stablilsed i craved liquorice & Marmite: ate jars & jars of Marmite spread on toast & crumpets etc. Always loved liquorice & marmite previously to being pregnant & still love them since having DD Smile

badgermum · 25/02/2016 13:33

I had a craving for vinegar and pickled onion flavour Monster Munch crisps, I remember one day on a family day out I was craving vinegar so much that I went to a chip shop and ordered some chips which came in a cardboard cone I put so much vinegar on them that as I left the shop the bottom was soaked and all the chips fell through the bottom of the cone onto the floor. I then sent my husband back in to buy some more!!

TyrannosaurusBex · 25/02/2016 13:43

Pickled gherkins. We had some very cool male students staying with us when I was expecting DD1, they'd watch me eating jars of them for breakfast whilst nursing their hangovers and retching...

Arriaga · 25/02/2016 18:00

Really loved eating raw carrots and bacon flavoured crisps (not together) during my current 2nd pregnancy. And anything with lemon/lime in it! Currently waiting for baby no 2 to drop (due next week!)

nerysw · 25/02/2016 21:11

Wisps Golds. Several a day all through the pregnancy. And if I threw one up it didn't count it and ate more, God they were happy days.

cmc1976 · 25/02/2016 21:13

I had a sponge called a 'mufti' sponge from home bargain, kind of like a yellow colour and all holey.. Anyway I used to drench it in cold water and chew it. I think it was more for the feeling of it than the taste... Had it in both pregnancies too.
