To help celebrate the new Pregnancy Tracker app, sponsored by Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure - we'd love to hear all about your pregnancy cravings.

The new app guides you through pregnancy week by week, sharing expert info and the experiences of thousands of other women who've been through the same things at each stage.

We all know that pregnancy can make people do some rather strange things - and 90% of pregnant women will experience antenatal cravings. Some can't get enough of one specific food, while others find themselves creating flavour combinations they'd never have dreamed of pre-pregnancy.

From inhaling everything sweet in two seconds flat, to middle of the night munching, or the sudden urge to taste things that aren't even food - what did you crave while waiting for your baby to arrive?

Share your wacky and wonderful pregnancy cravings with us - and help make other pregnant women currently experiencing them feel a little better about their latest hormone-induced feast.

Anyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for the store of your choice PLUS a month's supply of Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure!

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Avocado tomato egg mayo on baguette..... mmmm

Definitely full fat milk too, preferably jersey gold top if available.

Wow, chalk! Mud! Yum.

DH frequently had to send out for pizzas in the early hours! And chocolate, loads and loads of chocolate.

I was once in hospital due to complications and the nurse came to check on me in the middle of the night. When she pulled the curtain back, she found me sitting in my bed, surrounded by a huge pile of chocolate bars and empty wrappers! I was so embarassed! Blush

Spirael · 01/03/2016 10:31

Spicy food, and my tolerance shot through the roof!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 01/03/2016 11:47

The smell of bath sponges! I loved sitting in the bath every night sniffing my sponge Blush (for 3 of my 4 pregnancies)

I'm rather embarrassed about my urges. Anything 'fumey' and my mouth waters like crazy. A deep whiff at the petrol station, a good sniff of Purell hand sanitiser when fresh on my hands, even salivating after catching the unmistakable pong of white spirit used to clean the brushes after decorating with gloss paint.BlushBlush I know it's dangerous so of course I don't deliberately hunt down these things to smell them but oh boy will I be glad for my smell orientated cravings to disappear again and leave me alone!

I ate so much fruit in the first trimester that I had a permanently sore tongue. I ate pretty much nothing else, except salad. Yum!

I've craved vinegar on and off as well - been shaking it onto a spoon and drinking it Hmm

Ashhead24 · 01/03/2016 19:29

Jam doughnuts. I was sure I could smell them all the time and I really wanted them. Unfortunately I had awful morning sickness so when I did get them I didn't actually want to eat them.

I couldn't get enough satsumas! Had to send DH out to get a bag of them one night and he came back with ones that were still green! Still ate them though Grin. Also ate bread sticks all day and Jacob's crackers throughout the night. Not very weird considering my sister ate sponges - and I don't mean cake Confused

scrivette · 01/03/2016 22:18

Olive Oil, I couldn't get enough of it towards the end of my pregnancy, I had to stop myself from drinking the stuff. I used to joke that the baby would just slide out easily - and he did!

Like a previous poster I became a bit addicted to the smell of bath sponges and would bury my nose in them Blush

theno1dj · 02/03/2016 09:49

My wife always had a craving for ice cubes, went through loads of them.

sootyo · 02/03/2016 11:18

Plums by the pound, couldn't eat enough of them.

DimlowChips · 02/03/2016 14:47

I desperately wanted an Easter egg when I was pregnant. Sadly this was in November! Bless him, DH offered to get me chocolate but it wouldn't be the same. He found one on Amazon but refused to pay £45 for a Cadbury's Buttons egg Angry

onedowneleventogo · 02/03/2016 15:14

Melon. I can eat a whole gala in one go.

mynellie · 02/03/2016 16:16

Prawns by the bucket load and pistachio nuts i couldn't get enough of them

Lulabellx1 · 02/03/2016 16:21

When pregnant with DD, I was pregnant over the Christmas period. I discovered the joys of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches and HAD to have one every day. This went on throughout the pregnancy. Turkey and Cranberry sauce can be hard to come by in August!

myusername12345 · 02/03/2016 16:42

None really, but felt sick at the sight of a sweet potato!

FuzzyOwl · 02/03/2016 17:46

Small green satsumas (around 40 per day). Also salt.

BramathaJane · 02/03/2016 18:43

Banana Nesquik - which I can't find anywhere Sad

cookie09 · 02/03/2016 21:34

I was pregnant with twins, hormones all over the place and went through stages with my cravings, the ultimate being Tabasco sauce. I carried a little bottle of Tabasco around in my bag during pregnancy and used it on everything. Another was Gherkins with citrus five alive, as you can imagine the heartburn was atrocious, i went through bottles and bottles of Gaviscon. The doctor must have wondered what i was upto :D

sam90alex · 02/03/2016 22:18

Mine was potato salad sandwiches.

FinallySanity · 03/03/2016 01:14

Currently 21 weeks and have come out the other side of awful constant morning sickness finally a few weeks ago, and now i want to eat anything anyone mentions!
I have a particular need for really juicy pink lady apples, drinks with lots of ice and spicy foods!

Illyillyilly · 03/03/2016 05:29

Mine was jalapeños. Couldn't get enough.

MakeTeaNotWar · 03/03/2016 09:50

I craved Chuppa-Chup lollipops, particularly the Apple flavour

BeautyQueenFromMars · 03/03/2016 10:03

Eating sausage sandwiches (but only the kind they made in the canteen at work) and sniffing Tippex Blush

Cintacmrs123 · 03/03/2016 11:17

currently craving custard creams but devastated due to biscuit shortage
