To help celebrate the new Pregnancy Tracker app, sponsored by Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure - we'd love to hear all about your pregnancy cravings.

The new app guides you through pregnancy week by week, sharing expert info and the experiences of thousands of other women who've been through the same things at each stage.

We all know that pregnancy can make people do some rather strange things - and 90% of pregnant women will experience antenatal cravings. Some can't get enough of one specific food, while others find themselves creating flavour combinations they'd never have dreamed of pre-pregnancy.

From inhaling everything sweet in two seconds flat, to middle of the night munching, or the sudden urge to taste things that aren't even food - what did you crave while waiting for your baby to arrive?

Share your wacky and wonderful pregnancy cravings with us - and help make other pregnant women currently experiencing them feel a little better about their latest hormone-induced feast.

Anyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for the store of your choice PLUS a month's supply of Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure!

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

In both of my pregnancies I craved cement!

lollylaus83 · 26/02/2016 12:52

I'm on baby number 4 and never had any weird cravings really but if I NEED a certain type of food I have to have what I fancy! Like fish and chips and the other night its was greek salad! I did have a cheese, mayo, cucumber and pickle sandwich the other day though and it was delicious!

chewbecca47 · 26/02/2016 14:49

I was Muller Corner Queen! When pregnant with my little girl I craved the Blackberry and Raspberry corner frozen, and easily ate 6 a day! I even woke in the night to eat them; must be the calcium! ;)

chewbecca47 · 26/02/2016 14:56

I was Muller Corner Queen! With DD I ate 6+ Blackberry and Raspberry Corners a day, and even woke in the night for them! No other flavour hit the spot, ;)

chewbecca47 · 26/02/2016 14:58

Seems to have loaded twice, hey ho!

Tootsieglitterballs · 26/02/2016 19:43

I couldn't get enough of ice cold water with ice - it had to come from the kitchen too - in our house known as downstairs water - bathroom water was no good, bottled water was awful. It had to be downstairs water.

Couldn't get enough bananas all the way through - baby loved them, always kicked loads when I had them - he's one and still loves them.

Fresh fruit (first sign I was pregnant!)

Lastly, tuna. Ate so much tuna, by the time I stopped throwing up at 22 weeks I couldn't stand the smell or even the thought of it. Took about 9 months after baby came for me to touch tuna again.

Baked beans - until the hyperemesis hit and they came back up intact within seconds!

angiehoggett · 27/02/2016 17:04

brie and cranberry paninis for some reason!

aristocat · 27/02/2016 18:52

Mine was Roast Chicken crisps with DS. My best friend loved Apple pie and chips together Hmm she's quite normal really!

TheMasterBaker · 27/02/2016 19:17

With the dd1 it was orange things! I couldn't get enough satsumas, carrot sticks and mango juice! Nothing with dd2. Baked beans, parmesan and balsamic vinegar. I couldn't get enough vinegar, it was vinegar on EVERYTHING.

DellyBee · 27/02/2016 19:50

Cheese and onion filling from a Greggs pasty with sweet chilli sauce ; ( my first pregnancy) anything salty ( my 2nd pregnancy) seriously i couldn't be trusted with the salt shaker!!!

marshgirl · 27/02/2016 20:05

My cravings was to sniff a bathroom sponge (new and unused of course ) . I would soak in shower gel then let it dry and carry it around with me all day and night. Even at work I would go into the toilets and quickly sniff.

Sagethyme · 27/02/2016 22:18

Watermelon with DC2, one night i was desprate for some and DH walked (in pouring rain) to the inn nearest us (approx 1/2 mile away) and they gave him a huge chunk, for free, i was incredibly grateful to them (and DH was too!)

Spencer1234 · 28/02/2016 07:38

Not very crazy but I couldn't stop eating strawberries when pregnant!

Bostin · 28/02/2016 08:45

I didn't like cheesecake until I was pregnant with DC1 when I started to love it.
I couldn't stop drinking dandelion and burdock with Dc2. I believe burdock is not great in large quantities when pregnant but luckily the drink from the supermarket contains flavourings rather than the real thing.

Brightside65 · 28/02/2016 11:32

I seen this post and actually thought it was my craving! From 12 weeks my craving was smelling comfort blue skies both on newly washed clothes and from the bottle! Decanted some into a water bottle that stayed in my bag.

At same time I had craving for iceberg lettuce and vinegar!

kaycm25 · 28/02/2016 18:19

I had to have apples and even now my daughter would live on them given the chance.

I have never had a sweet tooth before but when I was pregnant with my little girl all I craved was chocolate, I loved salty foods too...So my favourite was McDonalds chips dipped in Nutella!!!

TheVeryHungryPreggo · 28/02/2016 20:53

I told everyone who asked that I didn't really have any pregnancy cravings with DS. And I believed it, until he was born and then suddenly I had more rotting oranges at home than I knew what to do with and hadn't felt like eating. I'd been getting through a bag of oranges every two days. I think afterwards I realised I'd eaten about a hundred oranges in the last two months.

With DD it was passionfruit sorbet in the first trimester, then red grapes and Thai curry throughout the rest of it. The hotter the better.

2gorgeousboys · 29/02/2016 07:02

With DS1 I craved bananas and would eat a bunch a day. When pregnant with DS2 I ate Cadbury's Creme eggs by the dozen. I would buy them in trays of 48 and I could get through 28 a day. Everyone used to joke that I would lay him rather than give birth! Funnily enough I have not been able to face eating one since and DS2 doesn't like them.

2plus1plusL1 · 29/02/2016 14:45

Breaded chicken, oven chips and baked beans .....every dinner for 9 months!

GenevaMaybe · 29/02/2016 16:17

Very very cold fruit salad. I'm not a fruit person, I prefer veg. But in pregnancy I just wanted mango, pineapple, strawberry, kiwi and the like

Misscocopops · 29/02/2016 21:28

I made a thread on here when I was pregnant to do with all the things I cried over. Poor dp was trying to get ready to go on a stag do and I start sobbing uncontrollably that there's no Frosties. At this time we were not cereal people and had no cereal in the cupboards. Bles him he went off to get them. He also had to do a late night Sunday trek round the shops to try and get me nesquick chocolate milk powder.

k8vincent · 29/02/2016 22:10

I never actually had any 'cravings' with any of my 3 but don't tell DH that! He would dutifully head off for that thing I absolutely had to have. TBH - by DS3 I think he'd sussed it though.
