To help celebrate the new Pregnancy Tracker app, sponsored by Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure - we'd love to hear all about your pregnancy cravings.

The new app guides you through pregnancy week by week, sharing expert info and the experiences of thousands of other women who've been through the same things at each stage.

We all know that pregnancy can make people do some rather strange things - and 90% of pregnant women will experience antenatal cravings. Some can't get enough of one specific food, while others find themselves creating flavour combinations they'd never have dreamed of pre-pregnancy.

From inhaling everything sweet in two seconds flat, to middle of the night munching, or the sudden urge to taste things that aren't even food - what did you crave while waiting for your baby to arrive?

Share your wacky and wonderful pregnancy cravings with us - and help make other pregnant women currently experiencing them feel a little better about their latest hormone-induced feast.

Anyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for the store of your choice PLUS a month's supply of Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure!

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

dozza33 · 06/03/2016 18:26

Vanilla ice cream! Especially in the middle of the night

carmelmari · 06/03/2016 19:08

I was a mustard sniffer. I used to carry a tube around with me and breathe it in all the time.

smit23 · 06/03/2016 19:20

Lost my sweet tooth (it has returned thankfully) but I would eat cheese and onion crisps, followed by gherkins and then peanut butter on toast.. very odd!

I became obsessed with washing powder and fabric conditioner. I'd hang out in the washing aisle in the supermarket for ages, and added as much of both to my washing machine as it could cope with!

I only had one odd food incident. I made a bacon sandwich, and at the last minute before eating it, got a tin of peach halves out of the cupboard, sliced some up and added them to the sandwich. It was very satisfying.

Kangakate · 06/03/2016 19:37

Salted peanuts and vanilla ice-cream

clairewilko29 · 06/03/2016 19:58

Mine was ice. Used to buy bags of it and eat it all the time. Had to crunch it too not suck it. Also used to have real cravings for beetroot smoothies. I hate beetroot and always have and yet when i'm pregnant i crave it.

ser01 · 06/03/2016 23:42

think my weirdest craving was chewing rubber, in particular bits of hot water bottle.

redfoxx1979 · 07/03/2016 00:00

The only craving I had was sausage rolls - I went off fruit, which I usually eat lots of.

spanglisher · 07/03/2016 00:18

citrus flavoured fromage fraise and dry roasted peanuts

claire2107 · 07/03/2016 00:21

Breaded chicken, it was all I wanted to eat, pretty much any time of day! And I really went off the taste of toothpaste!

clarabella12 · 07/03/2016 02:19

mine was cheese and pickle baguettes from asda! I would buy 5 of them at a time as it could only be from there.

pipaluk · 07/03/2016 06:28

My guilty secret was coal, chalk and dust.
I would burn my toast until it was on fire and eat coal off the bbq.Such a weirdo I know but the urge was so strong. I would dream about eating chalk and dust, never actually did though I'm glad to say. I am a vegetarian so I am wondering if my body was missing some vital nutrient. I laugh about it now but I kept it a secret at the time.

soodee · 07/03/2016 09:03

Cucumber, I ate it with every meal and as a snack. I was even given some a thank you by a friend I helped out with a small task!

ptak5566 · 07/03/2016 09:21
