ever offered your guests empty platters! I have no idea how my ddog managed to remove all the mince pies from the platter in the midst of my 'little festive food' display on the dining table, AND all the chocolate Ollivers!

but it seems she couldn't reach the Christmas cake, phew!

I had set up a little festive display of the products of all my hard work in hot kitchen with homemade mince pies and yule log and so on. I flew out the door to meet up with friend and she came back for a coffee and i was so thrilled to offer up whatever she fancied from my dining table selection and she look a bit non-plussed! I just figured i hadn't put them out! the plates had not moved but everything was gone!

... and i know that research tells us its only us that say ddogs CAN look guilty, but after counting the mince pies still in the kitchen, and checking the tin of Chocolate Ollivers, i took one look at ddog and her face and bloated tummy said it all!

Its not fair that to rub salt into the wound she then stank the house out for the next 12 hours and couldn't make it through the night with the runs! just lovely Hmm

She has calmed down now although we had a child lock on the under the counter fridge in the utility room for a long time

We took our puppy to visit relatives, it was all going well until he disappeared and we found him half an hour later surrounded by what was left of my nephew's new board game...he was not popular!

One christmas, when i was around 10, we all went out during the day, and the family dog was left at home. to say she was upset about us leaving her is an understatement! anyway, mum asked me to put the snacks out later that day, and couldn't find the nuts etc that usually went out on the table (this was the 80"s after all and these were the snacks we had!} all the snacks had disappeared, and remained a mystery over the next couple of days, with mum repeatedly confirming she had bought them, and left them in the kitchen ... until one of us, a few days later, changed the bedding in the dogs basket to find that she had hidden then all under all the blankets! she certainly got her revenge on us leaving her alone!
