With Cadbury launching their biggest ever advent calendar, Cadbury would like to know which moment over the festive period your DCs are most excited about.

Here's what they say "This year we’re launching Cadbury’s biggest ever advent calendar and setting out to bring even more joy to the countdown this Christmas. 24 trucks, 24 doors, opening daily in 24 different locations, we’re ringing joyful festive surprises to the nation on the countdown to Christmas. While we’re counting down, we’re also keen to hear from Mumsnetters about which festive moment your kids can't wait for"

Find out about the Cadbury advent calendar by watching the video below:

So which festive moment are your DCs most excited about? You might be thrilled at the prospect of some time relaxing at home with your family, but if you asked your children - what would their response be? Perhaps they're dying to decorate the Christmas tree? Or take centre stage at their school nativity play? We're looking for the moments and treats that make Christmas for them, alongside the thrillingness of ripping wrapping off (lots of) presents.

Whichever festive moment your DCs can't wait for, Cadbury would love to hear about it.

Everyone who posts a comment will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky MNer will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Christmas morning obviously but apart from that christmas night. We have a gift each with christmas crafts in then eat party foot, open our new pjs and snuggle up on the settee with blankets to watch lots of christmas movies with as many sweeties as they want. Xx

My 2 are still quite young, the 2 yr old has no idea, but the almost 4 yr old dis really getting into it. She can't wait to see Santa's presents, but she is also excited about the food and chocolate. They have both been really chuffed with seeing Santa

My boy is excited for Santa to come - although questioning how as we have no chimney. He was super excited for his school nativity but that was the end of last week.

My grand children are looking forward to the whole event, but truthfully speaking the presents rank very highly with them at the moment x

katieskatie82 · 14/12/2015 22:55

my son always looks forward to a games night on xmas eve. We play board games and watch xmas movies and my ds gets so excited. x

My pre-teens most look forward to the long walk we have after dinner with both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, looking at all the lovely lights and trees in our village. The year we had heavy snow on Christmas Day was their worst Christmas they say as we couldn't do the walk...

My daughter has been picked as Mary in the kids nativity on Christmas Eve and she is very excited as there will be real donkeys

robyn297 · 14/12/2015 23:50

My son can't wait to feed the reindeer on Christmas eve.....I've been battling to get him to understand that we won't actually see them, we'll just leave food out for them!

mamof3boys · 15/12/2015 00:09

My children love laying the treats out for Santa and the reindeer on Christmas Eve.

My 5 year old is looking forward to Christmas morning to see what Santa brings - she's been very excited about opening her advent calendar every morning :)

Flossiecrossie · 15/12/2015 09:12

The thought of Father Christmas and the possibility of a glimpse of him on Chritmas Eve is filling my little one with excitement.

Woodruffshaz · 15/12/2015 10:46

I have 9 kids from 15 down to a 1 year old. The older ones 15,14 & 12 don't seem that excited this year, but the younger ones are all getting very hyped up. They are looking forward to everything! They love doing their school plays, they can't wait for their presents and they are looking forward to visiting their relatives too as family get togethers are always a lot of fun! The week before Christmas they will be bouncing off the walls with excitement the rate they are going! I personally can't wait to see them get their presents and I'm really looking forward to seeing all my family for a couple of days :-) (and I'm looking forward to the kids calming down again!)

neddle · 15/12/2015 12:53

I think mine just look forward to the presents. I don't think I've ever asked them what their favourite thing is though. Will be back to update when I find out ;)
