With Cadbury launching their biggest ever advent calendar, Cadbury would like to know which moment over the festive period your DCs are most excited about.

Here's what they say "This year we’re launching Cadbury’s biggest ever advent calendar and setting out to bring even more joy to the countdown this Christmas. 24 trucks, 24 doors, opening daily in 24 different locations, we’re ringing joyful festive surprises to the nation on the countdown to Christmas. While we’re counting down, we’re also keen to hear from Mumsnetters about which festive moment your kids can't wait for"

Find out about the Cadbury advent calendar by watching the video below:

So which festive moment are your DCs most excited about? You might be thrilled at the prospect of some time relaxing at home with your family, but if you asked your children - what would their response be? Perhaps they're dying to decorate the Christmas tree? Or take centre stage at their school nativity play? We're looking for the moments and treats that make Christmas for them, alongside the thrillingness of ripping wrapping off (lots of) presents.

Whichever festive moment your DCs can't wait for, Cadbury would love to hear about it.

Everyone who posts a comment will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky MNer will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

My kids get so exited about Xmas eve, new PJ's watching a Xmas movie and then getting everything ready for Santa and Rudolph before snuggling down in bed

goose1964 · 14/12/2015 07:36

they're looking forwards to seeing if Father Christmas has been

sarah3875 · 14/12/2015 09:15

It'll be waking up and seeing Santa has been i'm sure.
However, It's really sweet but all they keep going on about is what their baby brother is going to get. He's only 5 weeks so it's still a bit of a novelty I guess. x

Present opening followed closely by Xmas lunch.

topgunmatt · 14/12/2015 12:09

This year, instead of just imagining Santa’s sleigh ride, with Google Earth and Maps we will be watching Mr. Claus fly around the world as he delivers presents to millions of boys and girls.
Were all excited and will be sitting down watching his journey on our main Lounge TV.

They get excited about everything, but love the tree going up and the countdown to the big day x

My little one is 3 this year so it's the first year he's really understood about Santa so he's really, really excited about his arrival. He absolutely loves opening presents, and he'll be in his element with his cousins over Christmas. The whole thing is a great experience for him.

My youngest can't wait for his brothers to come home from university. That's when it will feel like Christmas in our house. We are busy getting the house looking nice for them :)

laurapotz · 14/12/2015 16:48

My 2 year old daughter is very excited about opening presents. She has already unwrapped all the 'present' decorations on the tree and I can't leave any presents for anyone anywhere she can see them because she thinks they are all for her!

matphil · 14/12/2015 17:50

My children love decorating the tree and switching all the lights on.

I really enjoy watching Christmas films with my ds, we get blankets and popcorn.

We have also been making Christmas cards and cakes. I also put him in a Christmas jumper to get his photo taken with Santa. All lovely festive fun and moments with ds.

meggysar · 14/12/2015 18:07

Sitting by the fire on Christmas eve making clove oranges and getting a plate ready for Santa before taking their stockings up to bed. Eating biscuits and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows before bed.

brookson · 14/12/2015 21:36

My son always loves to get up to see where what our Christmas elf hot toddy has been up to. Sometimes he's a bit naughty, but the other day he brought us cookies.
