Hobbycraft have asked us to find out what arts and crafts activities you’ll be doing with your DCs during the Easter period.

Here’s what they say, “With lots of opportunities for fun over the Easter holidays we’d love to know what crafty activities you’ll be taking part in this Easter holidays! Are you making Easter bonnets, or even creating your own egg hunt or maybe baking with the kids? Here at Hobbycraft we’d love to hear about how you create your own Easter family traditions!”

So, what kind of arts and crafts activities will you be doing with your DCs in the run up to Easter? Maybe you’ll be painting and decorating Easter eggs? Or will you be making Easter bonnets in time for an Easter bonnet parade at school? Whatever it is we’d love to hear it!

we are going to make easter cookies and draw chicks and rabbits on them

we are making easter cake, we did a trial run last weekend of a chocolate fudge cake and kids decorated it in mini eggs & chicks. also doing decorate an egg for school too :D

Some Easter baking would be a good idea. Me and my colleagues at work are thinking about making some cakes to take around our surrounding surgical wards at work over the Easter weekend.

we'll be making easter cards and birds nest cakes (shredded wheat + melted chocolate).

We will be making Easter bonnets and easter gardens, I did an easter garden past and present for the school with one of my daughter's and it was beautiful, also we do an egg hunt and plenty of glueing and painting activites with some friends around from school to make it more fun.

Me and my son will be decorating eggs and making Easter bonnets for our family Easter bonnet completion, All the kids love Easter just as much as birthdays and Christmas ?

I will be letting my kids be creative with cake toppings and letting them decorate hard boiled eggs.

We will be making easter cards and easter baskets for members of the family, filling them with chicks, bunnies and eggs x

We will be painting eggs, decorating cupcakes and colouring spring pictures.

The school have asked for an Easter bonnet for the parade and also some spring themed artwork too, so we'll be doing that too.
