The National Lottery would like to know who you would like to pay tribute to on Mother's Day.

Working with the charity Home-Start, The National Lottery gave one incredible Mum the surprise of a life time to thank her for the difference she’s made to so many.

So we want to ask you, is there someone special that you’d like to thank on Mother’s Day? It may, of course, be your own Mum, it could be an aunt or a neighbour. Whoever it is, we’d love to hear a bit about what made them so special to you .

My mum is simply irreplaceable and always there so I have to thank her! She's mint!

I'd like to thank my children for allowing me the opportunity to be a mother.

My mum for being amazing.

My Dad for making my Mum so happy and giving me an example of what a truly happy wonderful marriage is. My parents are best friends even after 35 years of marriage, and that's a rare, and lovely thing.

It would have to be my own Mum - she loved me before I was born and has kept me feeling secure all my life.

It would have to be my mum, she is always there for me AND my children. A never ending stream of support and guidance. She has not had it easy but she is by far the strongest person I know and such a great example.
