The Christmas festivities are now over, which means it’s time for New Year’s resolutions, re-evaluating our finances and staying in on those long, cold nights. But it doesn’t all need to be doom and gloom… it’s also the perfect time for you and your family to escape with a film, or get stuck into a new TV show – and Netflix has plenty to choose from!

We want to know what you’ll be watching on Netflix to beat the winter blues. Are you enjoying the quirky police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Perhaps you’re catching up on House of Cards in preparation for season 3 in February? Maybe you’ll be indulging in an episode of Breaking Bad?

We’d also like to know what, if anything, your kids love watching on Netflix. Are the little ones obsessed with Spongebob Squarepants? Do they wind down before bed with a Disney film like Toy Story 3 or Brave? Or maybe your teenager is hooked on Gossip Girl? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it!

Love House of Cards and counting down to February 27th. Love the fact that when k travel to the USA with work, I get to watch their version too. We use all our user accounts and love it.

I've just started watching The Good Wife which I'm enjoying, and my son loves Dora the Explorer and Pocoyo!

We're watching the 24 series - something a friend of ours has been telling us for a long time to get into. It's from the early naughties and can't believe we haven't come across it yet! Really enjoying it so far and it's a great chance for us to unwind every so often through the week or at the weekend as a couple before our first little bundle of joy arrives!

Breaking Bad! It's sooo good.

Umi zoomi mostly our 2 year old is obsessed with it!

I am loving that new cartoon about the two larva worm dudes who live in the drain!

I despise with a passion Bo on the Go, and Sid the Science Kid. These shows are awful. I wish I could hide them so DS couldn't see them on offer. Luckily he has now gone off them, but I should be able to block certain crap!

We have just done a marathon session of The Good Wife, series 1-4, absolutely loved it, and can't wait for series six. I love Netflix for the ease of use, and lack of adverts. Had to use 4OD for series five of The Good Wife and adverts every five minutes were so irritating. Completely spoiled the vibe.

Currently working through House MD and Pretty Little Liars.

I'm a bit annoyed UK Netflix doesn't have Friends yet... I'd love to re-watch all of that if it becomes available.

We are watching Dexter, and the kids love Adventure Time and Lego Ninjago.

DH is enjoying watching peewee's playhouse with DS (5) I think it's a bloody riot.

I'm going on maternity leave soon and would love the company of netflix during the long nights but my shit company mat package means we'll be skint and have to cancel our subscription

Loved Breaking Bad - The League is very very funny too. Prison Break is worth a shout also.

To cure the winter blues, I think a marathon of The Killing would be just perfect. Now if only I had an XBox One and a Netflix subscription to watch it with.... hmmmm...

I've just finished watching Marco Polo which I really enjoyed, although I do have to agree Netflix has fallen behind the with times a bit and the majority films available I've either seen or haven't exactly got the must watch wow factor.

Overall, ok and good for the price but I prefer watch Amazon Instant.

We'd not seen the good wife before but will def be tuning into the new series this week after watching the old series' at my mum's on Netflix......Would love t have our own subscription as I think my mum is sick of us visiting them to watch theirs!!

Still watching Pretty Little Liars which I am thoroughly enjoying. Hoping to watch Orange/New Black at some point. I loved Breaking Bad...couldn't stop watching it.

WE love Netflix in this house - favourites are Orphan Black, Orange is the new Black, Good Wife, House of Cards - loved that! DS had to watch Les Mis for a school homework project and that Netflix served it up right on time!

I'm currently catching up on House and Buffy although I'm also enjoying introducing my kids to Power Rangers and Sonic Underground! lol

Finally getting around to finishing Breaking Bad and Dh is just started watching The Shield on my recommendation! I'm then going to start on House of Cards. We had Netflix on a free trial and I honestly thought we wouldn't continue, but can't be without it now!

The kids finished Buffy, the whole 6 series a few months ago (if I see another vampire!) they are now on Merlin, which is better for them, no having to fast forward through any risky scenes.

Im watching OITNB season 2, which I've been saving so I'd have something great to watch in miserable January! My kids are watching a variety of stuff. DH only watches films

We loved Breaking Bad and Dexter and I am currently watching The Good Wife. looking forward to OITNB and also finally starting Sons of Anarchy.

The kids love, The Regular Show, Team Umizoomi, Bo on the Go and everything else!

House of Cards - an dear ex-partner of mine recommended it to me and he is so right, absolutely gripping. It's my treat after I get my boys to bed.

I've just started watching 'Breaking Bad', finally decided to see what all the hype is about, and so far I'm loving it! For good old comfort TV I watch Firefly, my favourite series - so glad that Firefly and Serenity are both available on Netflix, as well as Stargate!

If I'm in the mood for comedy, it's got to be Brooklyn Nine Nine!
