With summer in full swing, Netflix have asked us to find out how MNers plan to fit a Netflix Moment into summer family plans this year.

Netflix have a dedicated section for kids and family entertainment, including TV shows like Horrid Henry, iCarly and Spongebob Squarepants and movies such as Tangled, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Lilo & Stitch. Learn more at the Netflix Kids section. Netflix is available anywhere in the UK with Wi-Fi, on numerous devices with Wi-Fi, including mobiles, tablets, TVs and games consoles.

You can see how other MNers are using Netflix with their families this summer here.

So, how do you think you’ll be using Netflix over the summer holidays to entertain your family and enjoy time together? Are your DCs winding down by watching their favourite show after a big day out? Are the grandparents and kids bonding over a shared love for Toy Story 3? Is Netflix providing some much-needed respite on a rainy day? What else has been keeping your children happy in the holidays? Whatever it is, Netflix would love to hear about it.

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

DH would kill me if he saw me admit this...this summer we have BOTH been addicted to Awkward. It's so funny, and good and I think DH loves it slightly more than me!

Watching The Thick of It when twin toddlers asleep and SO enjoying the swearing (I really miss a good swear, now I have DCs).

All selecting a film to watch together, sometimes a new one, sometimes an old favourite

We have movie night every Saturday with dd1 when baby is in bed. It's her happiest time of the week
Lots of popcorn, giggling and 100% attention from both mummy and daddy.
We all love it

We've really loved watching Bubble Guppies on rainy summer afternoons. The songs (especially the 'outside' rap) just crack my toddler up!

The boys 1 and 4 both adore Umi Zoomi and are so engrossed by it. The maths element has genuinely helped my 4 year old so that's guilt free.

Otherwise they love Caillou, Barbie, Fireman Sam and Max and Ruby.
There's just so much choice. In fact my younger child has hardly watched CBeebies.

'Tangled' on Netflix has become a firm favourite in this house. Each morning when my 1 year old wakes up at crap o'clock, we fast forward to almost 6 mins in which is the beginning of the 'When will my life begin song' and we know we can buy ourselves a few extra snoozy moments with it!

I have just signed up to Netflix after realising the app is on the new ish tv haha. I have gotten so bored with tv in the evenings so I'm looking forward to watching a series and documentaries. Our son is currently watching lego short films - keeping him entertained before a late tea (did I mention daddy forgot to turn the oven on which has a chicken in it?!)
