AIBU to object to being told how I should think

that I should not be joyful or positive about dd and her disabilitie, that I should post doom and gloom, as if I don't I am only showing a biased veiw.
I don't seem to be allowed to post that my life is good, that I am happy and dd is a pleasure.

& of course they would have thought, poor lamb having a disabled son has pushed he over the edge... maybe they'd of given me the day off.

I almost fell asleep & i was standing up, god knows what the poor victims delegates thought.

Land AHOY & Jolly me roger!

anonandlikeit · 19/09/2008 19:39

jimjamshaslefttheyurt · 19/09/2008 20:04

Pagwatch this: "I took the time to cut and paste the paper I read in 1982 entitled " your lives are crap so stop pretending - and never forget that I know best" " has just made me laugh out loud so dh is now looking at me with a concerned sideways look.

My terrible burden is awake, but in his bedroom in bed. It's 8pm. How can that be?

rivenmetimbers · 19/09/2008 20:10

my burden is still awake and ummm, possibly proving certain people right. But I'm eating chocolate and mumsnetting so its not all bad

2shoes · 19/09/2008 22:11

oh dear I would have replied earlier but I was watching tv(dh missed the end as dd needed help) I can't believe you are all lol. do you not realise my life is in tatters. I haven't got a pirate name and as I said on page 666 my dd is being happy and I don't know what to do, as it is not allowed.

Well, everything my ds2 does is because he has aspergers+. So he is talking about Ramadhan at school because he has aspergers, he is looking forward to fireworks on eid because he wants to burn things down apparently, teachers and senco very concerned, how could he possiblly know what enjoyment is, he is miserable little sod who has aspergers with adhd. If he gets near a firework, he is liable to burn entire town down, because he will get too excited, he must not get excited ever....

deeeja · 19/09/2008 22:44

My name will be very carefully thoght out deeeja-arrgh!
Always late to catch on me!

siblingrivalry · 19/09/2008 22:46

PMSL at this thread. Just what I needed! Nothing to add, just wanted to say 'thanks'

2shoes · 19/09/2008 23:04

oh good, teese things can back fire(did I say that on page 55555555?)

OP posts:
SixSpotBurnet · 19/09/2008 23:09

LOL at this.

Of course, I now know that there is no point in asking jimjams, or anyone else, for help or advice or views, because other people's experience is completely irrelevant (unless it's 100% negative) .

2shoes · 19/09/2008 23:18

you are so wrong the irrelevance of their posts is irrelevant, you must not use your personal experience as they are irrelevant.
(had to spell check all the vance words)

SixSpotBurnet · 19/09/2008 23:19

Yes, it was very confusing, wasn't it...

rivenmetimbers · 20/09/2008 09:05

OMG. Now you're talking about rock. you do know you cant do normal-people things don't you. You have a disabled child. It can't possibly happen. I know cos a stranger on the bus confided in me.
And deeeeja.Fireworks are for normal people. Haven't youu dug your cellar of shame yet?

r3dh3d · 20/09/2008 10:38

I always miss whatever-thread-it-was and then log on here and think ... WTF???? WHAT ARE YOU ALL ON ABOUT, YOU WEIRDOS?

Actually, it's quite nice not knowing. It makes the internal world of SNnetters even more surreal. Good to know that's possible.

I know nothing, my brain is empty, my life is wrecked.
please donot tell me how you feel, your feelings are irrelevant as feelings are personal and therefore irrelevant in their irrelevance

eidsvold · 20/09/2008 11:54

hey you lot - stop talking out your arses - as least I have the feared child

Yup - that first full pull up of the morning swinging in my face as I slowly peel my eyes open accompanied by the toning of wet, wet is pretty fearsome

eidsvold · 20/09/2008 11:57

we had talk like a pirate day here in Aus at dd1's special school on Friday too. How cool - think children around the world talking like pirates.
