I think my scan date is 20/06. I try to block it out y mind and just check back periodically. I can’t bare all the stress again just to be completely refused- again! My original scan date was the 20/01 so I’m guessing it will be a full year of waiting to get a decision- shocking! Sorry you’re in the same position. Fingers crossed for us both.

i posted this in the other thread and then saw there is a new one so will post here too x
i called up DLA to ask about my sons renewal which is due to end next week. The man on the phone said a decision was made on 17/11 and a letter has been sent out but he can’t tell me what the decision is on the phone. Is that right?? Shall i call again and hope i get to speak to somebody else?

I haven’t seen many people with COC on here, I know there’s a few people in May and someone in April waiting, majority from the past few months have been March and early April and they have had decisions. I’ll call again on Friday and hopefully get someone with a better attitude🤣X

Hi everyone, new user here, COC scan date 30/9/2025 and a NC 17/11/2025 recieved 2 letters for my sons COC first dated 15 october saying decision will be made in 11 weeks recieved another one on 10 november saying decision will now be made in 15 weeks definitely ignoring both 🤣 wishing you all the best of luck 🙏

Hi hun yes call again explain a decision has been made and you'd like an update on decision choose option 1 then 5 then 1 then 4 I think that's correct

I’ve just seen a NC on FB they sent there forms back last Tuesday and got money in their bank today, absolute madness, bare in mind it takes 3-5 working days for money to go in the bank. So happy for kids being awarded but why should some kids waits 7/8 months and others wait a few weeks to get what they deserve🫣X

Yes I’m going to try do the same my new claim was around the same date has yours. I’m going to try forget about it until January and if I hear before it’s a bonus but if my son gets declined again I’m going to start a new claim because they seem to getting looked at within weeks and I can’t face a tribunal good luck and I hope your child gets what they deserve x

Thank you x i just called again and they have let me know what the decision was. I was previously getting just middle rate care and now will still get middle rate care but they have also added low rate mobility until 2032 x

I have missed called from dm today after waiting for 28 weeks for my child MR I missed it fell like crying . 😭

We missed a call last Wednesday they then sent a text arranging a call back time do we could be ready, hopefully they do the same for you!

I have call back today . And they try to put me throw with DM . But no one answered no one have send me any text or arrange anything with me yet 🥲🥲

My SD is 15th may for mr im hoping its not to much longer now im seeing some early mays being awarded

Ours was MR 25/04 had call with DM last Wednesday evening, no decision when we called Monday morning, hoping when we call tomorrow we can find out the decision

Fingers crossed you don't have to wait much longer and yours is a positive outcome ❤️ im not sure how it works the case manager phoned me Tuesday and said they have to speak to school but if they cant get through that day they have to send a letter so that could take 4 weeks so you wait all this time and it takes over don't it but it shouldn't take this long ❤️ its not fair really xx

So Decision made on the 18th November, but they wont tell us over the phone calling back now on option 4, fingers crossed!!
