I would give them a call just to double check, the text you received says you’ve been awarded so you should have received a payment today.

It would be good if they was to only look at the care side of it after having that long wait for a MR to get mobility, this is what would put me off getting a mobility car, the award are to short then it’s the worry about having to give it back each time at renewal

Thanks hun, we are going away for half term, so I'm trying to put it at the back of my mind for the week and hopefully at some point, we hear from them.

That will be a nice distraction, atleast you will know from a bank payment if they’ve made a good decision. I was thinking I might wait until Friday to call because I won’t be able to call again until they go back to school, I will be 30 weeks by then. Let us know if you hear anything and I hope you have a nice break away.

I'm going to call on Friday when I get back if I've not heard anything, I suppose no news is good news. Its just so frustrating, they won't even tell you if they are waiting for a reply from the school or paediatrician, you literally just have to wait!

You must be a different part of the country to me our half term is next week. Hopefully you have a back payment before you have to ring. I read somewhere they have started doing Aprils so hopefully not to much longer for me to wait either 🤞

Morning all, nc scan date 05/09, form should be backdated to 27/07. Recieved a payment this morning (21/10) of £1237.20. Can anybody help me figure out what rate DD recieved? Thanks

My friend seems to think they’ve started on April COC now because the end of March was done ages ago! I’m 28 weeks today so Im just aiming for 30 weeks as a cut off date to hear something but I will be calling Friday then won’t be calling again until 30 weeks when the kids go back to school.

Im 29 weeks now. Which is the only thing making me think next week will be the week 🤣 who knows. Id love to be a fly on the wall there!

This thread is nearly full there is a link above to the next thread. 😂 I know that hold music is so annoying and the wait is so long to get through to anyone, I bank with Monzo so it would show a pending payment the day after a award ( if they change rates ) I’m hoping that happens it’s deflating being told the same thing over and over.

MR scan date 28/05 received a call from the decision maker around an hour ago. She was extremely blunt and dismissive of my daughter’s age and I felt like she really didn’t give me much room to speak. Why an earth would you feel the need to repeats 100 times all 2 year olds need help with changing/ bathing ect (she’s nearly 3) when you can clearly see she has been awarded equipment from OT and OT has make decision that our home is unsafe for our child’s need. Nursery struggling with funding and only have her one hour a week due to lack of staff for 1-1 (EHCP in process) sleep specialist reports, support letters from portage, paediatricians. I’m so upset I feel so dismissed. I’ve been fighting this for a year advocating for my child for the sake to be over spoken and shut down for 20 minutes straight and they more than likely another decline. I’m so tired of this.

SD 24/6 coc 18weeks in called a few weeks ago the lady told me mine wouldn’t be touched yet as it’s a “newer” claim whatever that mean so from the looks of what I have been reading dates don’t mean a thing 😭im wanting change from MRC -HRC and HRM for my 4 year old son anyone near my date been done.
