Same scan date as me for my twins. Me twins are only 3 in november but was told by disability work, doctor and paediatrician to apply. Fingers crossed for you that your child is awarded!

My twins are 3 in November. I've also put in a new claims for both.

You’ll have to let us know, they don’t seem to give out information unless it’s with DM or been awarded

Good luck, let us know how you get on there is a few of us waiting for coc it would be nice to know what dates they are working on.

Moolikeyou · 01/10/2025 09:45

Managed to speak to someone who said it hasn’t even been looked at yet ☹️ and was told to call in a month if I hadn’t heard anything. She asked if id like a text message to be sent once processed which ive said yes to. She said they cannot give timescales due to now being well over the timeframes they originally set out. And it’s a wait and see now due to the sheer volumes of backlog COC have the most outstanding NC and MR prioritised

They don’t seem to be giving out information on coc until the decision has been made, some people have been told to wait weeks even though their claim was with a dm at the time. It’s looking like they don’t go over 30 weeks so hopefully you hear soon

MJMa · 01/10/2025 12:04

Sorry not sure why comment was posted three times! My app was glitchy last night.

I am not holding my breath about DD being awarded tbf, we were advised to apply by our early years forum in the LA.

Time will tell!

Decision made today. Not etilted to hrm. Going todo a MR. Can I do it over the phone before I recieve the letter?

You can do it over the phone but depending on why they declined it, it might be worth doing it on paper to argue it with specific references to the law if it was the SMI route you were hoping they met.

Oh no! I’m so sorry you didn’t get the outcome you was hoping for. Was you trying to get hrm through VUW or SMI?

Curlycookie5 · 01/10/2025 12:59

@brc13 they are into May coc now, they must have carried on the 21 weeks decisions so I’m not sure what’s happened to mine 🤦‍♀️

Have you seen anymore May with a decision maker? I’ve only seen one on here which is @Kittykatmumof4, I’ll have a look on Facebook and see if there’s any on there, hopefully you hear soon, what are you on like 26/27 weeks?X

She received her decision today and she’s the day after you. I’ve seen 1/5 on Reddit but that’s the only other one. Apparently on Facebook the April dates have been done now too. I’m on week 25 now, I’m not sure why I’m still waiting if all the other aprils have been done.
