That’s mine coc 9/4

Edited

You’re the only other April on here with me, the other April had their decision at 21 weeks. I’m 8/4 for coc when I call they just say they can’t give out information and it’s not been assigned to anyone yet. Is your coc for care and mobility? I’ve sent in loads of evidence so I wondered if that’s why it’s taking longer?

Foned this morning, was declined so will be taking the next step tribunal when letter arrives, my Mr scan date 14/3

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear especially after such a long wait. Gather more evidence and take it to the tribunal. Wishing you the best of luck.

I wonder if that’s why some COC have been done sooner 🤔 I hope they change my daughter award and lengthen her award I’ve got renewal forms due at the end of November beginning of December time, I don’t want to be waiting all over again 🤦‍♀️

Have you called up about the renewal? My friend has just received her renewal forms for her child that runs out in January, it seems silly having to do the form again now when they already have all the information on the coc and you should hear soon

I dont think its organised, 30 weeks for us is around 12th dec :-/ and after emergency epilepsy appt today medication changing again, new care plan etc and now being referred to a London hospital :-/

God I hope this isn’t the case! I did COC SD 12/05. They then sent her renewal forms which they received on 12/08. Renewal is for 19th December! Surely they can’t make me wait until 19th December for the COC decision??

yes I have my forms. They even told me to hold off if I haven’t heard by end of October I’ll send them as normally they would extend this close to a renewal if they do award it

You’re right every time I call they say they can’t give out information for coc so maybe they don’t know? Even new claims seem to be all over the place. I thought MR and COC used to get done around the same weeks? I look to this forum to know roughly when I will get a decision but there is no one left around my date to know anymore. I hope you hear something soon, COC don’t seem to go over 30 weeks is it the same with MR?

Im 11.03 and still waiting on coc outcome

So much can change in 30 weeks all we can do is keep sending in the evidence as and when we get it, i think the dm should call to make sure there is nothing else that needs to be added when they are about to make the decision because it’s so long, i hope everything is ok with your child 😞 it doesn’t sound like your having a good time at the moment

That’s reassuring that we should receive a decision by the end of the month. Hopefully you won’t have to fill in the renewal forms this wait is hard enough.

I don’t think you will be waiting to much longer, coc scan dates 4/3, 5/3 and 6/3 all received a decision on Monday so your date should be soon 🤞

It’s such a long wait I just hope none of us have to do a MR after we get a decision 😞 that will be another long wait! Good luck when you get your decision, I hope your given the right award 🤞

Thank you and you too, yes will be same again for MR so praying we dont need to go down that road, Goodluck to you 😊

I hope so I would sooner wait longer for them to take their time to read through all the evidence than them make the wrong decision from rushing it. It seem like we’ve all been on here forever hopefully it won’t be to much longer 🤞and we get good outcomes

You would think with them having us wait 6/7 months for a decision just now that they would extend awards and that would save up space on the back logs with the renewals. I don’t have a renewal until March 2027 but hopefully my little boy gets awarded higher and I don’t have do an MR before renewal and it be a constant wait. Fingers crossed for good outcomes🤞🏽X

Managed to speak to someone who said it hasn’t even been looked at yet ☹️ and was told to call in a month if I hadn’t heard anything. She asked if id like a text message to be sent once processed which ive said yes to. She said they cannot give timescales due to now being well over the timeframes they originally set out. And it’s a wait and see now due to the sheer volumes of backlog COC have the most outstanding NC and MR prioritised

I did think NC and MRs were prioritised but its been nearly 6 months from my MR and still nothing 😫 so I cant imagine what cocs are then?

I think NC is prioritised whilst COC and MR was around the same but recently they’ve pushed more MR’s than COC. Although seeing others say they’ve started May COC it seems it could be the other way round now?😂
