Yes my sons renewal..scan date 6th Jan , end date 10th may

NC 17/5/24 rejected MR 24/10/24 told 25 weeks called up told another week waited and called told another week told to call back today last week Wednesday I was called and asked some question also about sons condition and just been told now was given to case manager on 23/4/25 and I should know it can take 2 weeks ?? Like whattt that’s all in all 27weeks so far for MR still no decision very frustrating

That is so frustrating. My MR date is 30/10 and it’s all I can think about. I can’t bring myself to ring up either as I just think they are using any excuses to decline at the moment. Fingers crossed for you.

Hopefully you should hear soon with your end date being less then 2 weeks, have you phoned at all?

Me again! Been here my sd was 22/11.
was awarded back in march.
However i am still waiting for uc to process backdated disability element, its been 5 weeks so far!
anyone else having a problem with this!!
decision maker awarded it back on 05/04 but apparently waiting for the payment team to check the amount before it can be processed!! It was sent to that department back on the 15/04!

I rang for the 1st time today,and there's nothing to report as of yet

Ah okay, when I first phoned up they said I will know the week before end date, then on here most people's have been 3 weeks before expect for someone last week who's end date is this weekend they only found out mid last week if I remember right! So it's a bit all over the place for renewal processes I'm thinking but it should be done before end date, I think it's just the not knowing and having the worry of everything changing so last minute if not rewarded, were literally giving no appropriate notice of it and it's a lot of money to lose for our children's needs/help and expenses in no little time!

Hi, my son's renewal has just been awarded. It's our first renewal (SD 25/2/25) he's been upped to HRC do I tell universal credit of this change? Also do they backdate the money like they first did? This is our first renewal so we are a little lost. Thank you for any help. 🙂

Definitely inform uc as you will get higher care rate off them also! I'm not sure about backdate as I am currently going through my first renewal process also!

Thank you so much, it's such a relief as we were constantly told by his teams he should be on HRC. His end date was 18/4 I rang on 22/4 and it wasn't even processed so the supervisor pushed it through processing and gave it to a DM while I was on the phone. The date on the letter of the decision was also 22/4. I hope you don't have too long of a wait for your renewal.
I'm hoping one of these lovelies will be able to help regarding the backdate question.

Oh wow so your renewal was actually after your end date, I've not seen that one! And I hope so too! My end dates 09/06 so still got couple more weeks to go yet!

Waste of time been put through to case manager who said yes they are taking longer then 25 weeks and to call back in 3 weeks

We think it's because the 18/4 was Good Friday hence his form getting a little lost. I hope those weeks fly by for you 🤞

Did anyone press option 4 when ringing? Instead of the option 1 for more then 25 weeks ?
