Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

I don't know when my decision was made but I rang Monday after 3 and it was done.

phoned on 10/9
forms sent back and received 21/10 (on time)

does this mean 10/9 is my scan date or 21/10

19 weeks since 10th but 13 weeks since 21st so I now I have quite a while wait with seeing most comments of this post but just wondering when I should ring ect

Hey hun your scan date is 21/10 as that is when the form was received. You will be backdated your pay award from 10/09. If you’re is a new claim you’re looking at around 15-20 weeks I would say. But it could take longer. Hope that helps x

We are at week 19 (6th September), still waiting. Not yet been reviewed by a case worker yet.

In my experience the scan date is the day after they were delivered, sent my completed forms by signed for post and they said they were added to the system the day after they were signed for.

Hi do ppl waiting on MR all receive a call from the dm only have read a few on the tread that have received a call ?

When is the last time you called for an update? Surely you are over 25 weeks now. Not everyone receives a call. I don’t think @JW070116

No , I didn't receive a call or a text 🙄 money went in today and if I hadn't called i would have been none the wiser. @Princess23 my advice would need to ask to speak to the MR team as the call handlers have no idea. Just say it's about evidence and checking it's correct as you think you missed something important

So coc for HRM 09/08 constantly on phone as of 15/01 at 4:50pm it was in a queue, then apparently a descion made 16th at 9 am I found this strange
no text received just a letter this morning saying we have not changed descion entitlement remains unchanged the information we used is from your claim form and medical report
I never sent a medical report , I sent numerous letters of evidence but no medical should I question this

They should do but didn’t. It was only when I spoke to someone at service centre, did they look at my notes properly and realise I haven’t been sent the form and sent it to me first class. I didn’t know this form existed until he told me

Hi,

When my son's claim was in a holding queue it took around 1 week for decision maker to be allocated. It is in a queue before the decision maker allocates the case.
