Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

If my payment t was issued Wednesday when will it hit the bank you think has not in today . Monday?? X

Monday it should be, but give till Wednesday

Ok thank you I thought bacs took 3 days from date issued if sent withing the time frame ..
I'll just keep checking then if not by wedensday then I'll chase them up

Yeah so because it was issued on Wednesday. Your first day would be classed as Thursday, Friday and should receive Monday

No!! My evidence apparently isn’t even on the system yet! Can’t believe it been told to wait untill Wednesday and go from there payment can take 3/5 days hun xx

Oh no what are they doing...womder why mine happened on the same day it's wrong isn't it if that's all there waiting for then they should get it straight away.

Our scan date is 5.8.24. I phoned today and a lady told me my application was still open and it's taking 25 weeks so id hear around January 30th 2025. I spoke to them a while back and was advised Xmas eve was 20 weeks. Surely the new time scale of 25 weeks is for newly received forms? Anybody in August had their decision? How do they filter the dates? Thanks x

Uc have verifies my sons details they will change this months payment to new one
Descion has been sent to descion maker but she didn't say how long has they can't give time frame on this
Another long wait I guess for this now lol oh well what's another few weeks after waiting 22 weeks for dla descion 🤣

There's that many new claims now they have made it 25 weeks I think this is because of the Xmas break aswell which will back log them by week or so depends how long they have off.
They say it's date order bit I think it's random has people before me haven't been awarded yet but also some in August had been awarded before some in July dates

SD 06/08 MR no decision. I was told to ring mid December. Didn’t call today but yesterday they said it wasn’t assigned

@MelTom88 thank you think it depends on the area as there's all diff waiting times hopefully you don't have to wait as long as me as when it gets to this point u feel like giving in but I'm not going to I will go all the way now the worst that can happen is they say no but tbh they shouldn't have a leg to stand on as I can prove my case so we will see it will be what it will be but I won't give up and I hope you don't either x

Give it the full 5 working days if anything. Then call them up

Quick question did u inform child tax credits for child disability element? Or don’t you get that when on UC thx

Don’t panic. Sometimes it’s not DLA’s fault with back payment, could be the bank. Maybe if anything ring the bank and ask about incoming payments
