Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

How long does it take if dm has asked school for.sen report and I sent this back yesterday for them to make descion please

It all depends when it gets scanned onto the system and when the decision maker looks at it again. While waiting for your additional evidence they would have continued on in the pile. It may be worth ringing to find out if the additional evidence is on the system yet

To be honest i follow the groups on fb and I haven’t overly seen many august dates. July was mental especially 12-26th awards coming in like 10 day for them dates. June wasn’t as crazy as that. So maybe August dates will be a little quicker, wishful thinking eh? Xx

NC S/D 29/07. Phoned earlier this week and no update. Checking every morning for back pay as I've seen a trend of that being the way people find out, but nada. Fearing decline. These last weeks I've seen those with similar evidence get both awarded and declined. Inconsistencies in approach and info being given out are making the wait all the harder

.Hi everyone I’m so confused I did a COC and got my decision a week and half ago they said they are keeping me at middle rate but I’ve just received £750 in my bank from them? As this happened to anyone else? Because I shouldn’t of got any back dated money when they didn’t change my rate

She’s only 3 years old, and when I rang they said nothing had changed and my renewal has been seen to and they said the same thing
