Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

I asked the call handler to put a note on my claim this morning asking for a text when the decision is made. She said it wasn't guaranteed but I did then get one at lunchtime. So I think they actually have to make a note requesting it, but as with all of this, it really does depend which call handler you get

Yeah I think given the way you’ve already had take some time out as it’s such a draining process. The care part is fantastic, glad they recognised that at least. EHCP I’ve seen it go both ways which I think depends on whose desk it land on..

@SKB12 yes, that'll be the next long and draining fight. DD is extremely bright, which has been a huge barrier in us getting any help or support. Society is happy to overlook the eating disorder, sleep issues, autism, probable adhd, severe anxiety, total vulnerability as long as you get a "performing at greater depth" grade!

So I called again still not on the system but told to
Call back next Friday as should definitely be on the system by then different message to what i got this morning that it can take weeks to scan onto the system so just shows how different it is the message you get from person to person I’m leaving it now until next week can’t be bothered anymore 🤣🤣

Phone maybe Wednesday next week the kids break up then so I won’t be phoning untill the new year want to enjoy it with them than worrying about this nonsense x

No call. The lady said 3pm and if not today it would be tomorrow. I’ll ring them in the morning

Hi, I don't know if anyone can help I know I've seen it on here before but can't locate it.
Where do you send the extra evidence to?
My scan date is 13/08 but I've finally recieved the Diagnosis letter.

Hi I'm new to this thread as a poster but I've Been following along for a while, my scan date was the 26 August, just had a decision maker call me to ask if I had any other evidence I said no I've sent it all in and he said I will have a decision soon. Does anyone know how long it usually takes? This isn't even a new claim this should be a renewal, I sent my form back 2 weeks late due to me giving birth prematurely and us being sick I called to inform them they said no problem it will be a renewal and they processed it as a new claim!

I just called to see if my evidence has been scanned on which it has it was just delivered yesterday. Spoke to a nice lady asked about the dates she told me not to follow and of these groups as no one has jumped the que and it’s done in date order. She says these groups just will give u anxiety and to call up if I have questions?? Clearly it’s not done in order coz she said it’s taking 25weeks for NC and 35 for mr. X

Have you asked them to note the tracking number to the dm assigned that's what I did as they told me she can keep track when it arrives and get straight on it

True. I was told I won’t hear nothing till February 😭😭

Bet it is gove them call tomorrow give them the tracking number they will then lut note on for the dm handling your case and once it's on she can get straight on it for you that's what happened with me bit I was pestering them lol line phoning all the time x

You have proof its there. So just give them all call and give them tracking number then they can chase it up for you from there end x

I’ve been trying all week to get through on options 1514 being on hold over an hour at a time so I end the call am I choosing the wrong options in regards to NC and getting an update ?

I’ll be sending it again same way if this is the case x

Scan date 26 August I had my decision today they declined her, even tho she was already on it for the last 5 years middle rate care I was 2 weeks late sending back the renewal due to giving birth and they made the decision today to decline x
