Hello fellow waiting mums!

Been following since thread 52.
SD 31/07 NC
Looks like 19 weeks is the theme for decisions to be made atm.
I imagine you all have similar experiences; the last two years have just been waiting, chasing, complaining, from healthcare to school to LA. We have a great specialist now and my daughter finally has a home tutor as of this week! Such a long hard slog to get to the lovely people.

Best of luck to you all 🙏🏼

I just called and they’ve told me it’s up to 25 weeks and it’s only been just over 22 weeks! 🙄 so I’m stuck waiting I guess! I’ll call up again next week

Did you speak to a DM? If they are saying they are now working on 09/07 dates, yours should’ve been done!

SKB12 · 05/12/2024 11:50

Kc1999x · 05/12/2024 10:18

Mines still not been allocated😭

Dare I say next week 🫣

i called this morning and they’ve told told me it’s still with a decision maker! Getting annoyed now lol can we speak directly to a decision maker? Is it worth me calling again?

Yes when the call handler answers you can ask to speak to a DM and tell them why. They should then put your through

They told me that beginning of last week 😂🤔

😂 they must be on second to third week really then. They’ve no clue, part of the problem!

Sabah95 · 05/12/2024 11:59

Hi everyone I have been watching all the comments for a while you are all amazing. I have seen a lot of July scan dates at the moment. My scan date is 22/08 anyone here with the same scan date. Thanks

So by my calculations they should be coming up to my date soon🤞🏽😂

I think they tell us they are 2/3 weeks behind that way it makes them look good when they get them done "early" 🤣

Could be but with quoting 25 weeks then looking good went out the window. My letter literally says 11 weeks, heading to 18 weeks 😂

They really annoy me. When I phoned in September to check they recieved my forms they told me decision would be made within 15 weeks. Sent extra evidence in beginning of October, was told an update when rang to see if they recieved it then was told 18 weeks. Rang last week to add some additional information as son struggling with school ad they just gave an update, then to be told it won’t be don’t done before the 15th Jan. I’m 15 weeks next week I really thought I would be getting a decision next week up until end of October. It’s so annoying! They should just give realistic wait times at the beginning. X

Kc1999x · 05/12/2024 12:23

I just don’t get how the wait times go up. So we was told 15 weeks back in July, so surely it would stay at 15 weeks because more claims weren’t going in before the date. If you get what i mean, so surely the dates after we was told 15 weeks would then be 25 weeks

Kc1999x · 05/12/2024 12:23

If anyone gets what I’m saying😂

JW070116 · 05/12/2024 12:25

Been told 11, 15, 20 and 25 on letters and texts 🤦🏼‍♀️ really gets on my nerves, I wish they would just give honest truthful information

I was also told looking at how many are before you in your holding queue it could
well be done before 15 weeks that was at the 18 week call. I’m just fed up with the yarn they spin xx

sjay1017 · 05/12/2024 12:38

Ask to speak to dm and ask the reason, then you can try to fix what they needed and do a mr. Don’t give up hun if you really believe your child is entitled x
