Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July for decisions! xx

Called today for the first time.
SD 26/07. Given the generic 20 weeks, ‘a decision should be made by 13/12’
Friday the 13th… trying to be optimistic haha

Are they in Scotland? I’m calling up tomorrow to speak to a DM. Here you are in July and me in August but ours isn’t assigned.

Anyone know how lomg it's takes once additional I fo been sent from school to go back to dm so they can make a descion. They requested it today so got it sent it back today signed for next day

Nope definitely UK🤷🏽‍♀️ original claim June, declined October, MR done on the 30/10, now with a decision maker. They posted on one of the Facebook groups🙃 very annoying to say the least

It would make things so much easier if they did this

I don’t really think there is any timescale to be honest they certainly don’t seem to rush. I guess you’ll have to ring and let them know tomorrow it will be arriving and to let the decision maker know.

Sd new claim 30/07 sent more evidence 3 weeks ago via free post didn't think about having it signed and recorded and its been lost

Hopefully some news this week for everyone! @Kc1999x are you phoning today? I’m still waiting on the letters requested Monday from the dm! Really hoping they get to me today if not I’ll be chasing people tomorrow my decision hangs in the balance of these letters x

Makes no sense. I’ll give a call today to ask what dates they are on and if they can explain why one from 30/10 has been done, of course they won’t know though. Agree very annoying and unfair

They tried telling me it’s special circumstances when I queried last time. Was like absolutely not, I checked to make sure first of course😂

If I was you I’d just get the evidence again and re send tracked and signed for so you know it’s got to them safely!

Yeah maybe if no post today I will ring school and maybe tell a white lie that dla have rang and said they need it by the end of next week 🙈🙈 x

@Kc1999x they are in cov you wanna head down and demand it? 😂 he told me yesterday it had been done and he would get his colleague to send it via email so unless he’s lying I don’t know what the hold up is 🤔

If they were nearby I would! 😂 I’m going to call again and ask if they are aware I’m waiting to send it off?!

20 weeks + 2 days for me today... Trying to hold off phoning until tomorrow afternoon

It’s ridiculous isn’t it how long have you been waiting for this letter? I’m gunna have to chase school today feel awful
chasing them up but I don’t have a choice If it hasn’t come today surely dosnt take so long to write down what’s on the system! X

Do it 😂 I was speaking to a call handler few days ago and told him what the school is like. He said being a government company they find school are more helpful with them and they aren’t afraid to call them. It’s a shame as they could tell a DM so much about my son but my feeling about his teacher is that she won’t. They won’t have my support going forward if that’s the case

Since last week. I chased on Monday and was told it will be with me then. Fast forward to today and I still don’t have it. Called him yesterday he said his colleague had done it and when he sees him he will get him to send it to me. When I call today I’m not going to be polite about it
