Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

currently we are in July for decisions! xx

Called again this morning sd 12/07 coc

They put me through to service centre and told me who ever said it has been escalated wasn't true so she has now escalated it and told me if I don't hear by friday to call back 9 am so fingers crossed it will be donne by then

Thank you dear 💐 Honestly I have not call them at all during MR ... those 7 months traumatised me a bit and I have loads of other issues with other children to be sorted (oldest one started university).. this whole year have been one big waiting, chasing, sorting, solving... 🫣 Hope 2025 comes with more stability and balance in everything. Good thing school is supportive with my little one even though we still waiting for diagnosis..recently more than 3 years on ASD assessment and got a letter few months ago it can take now up to 48 months to be diagnosed 🤯

Had the same with my daughter today! You’re not alone! Now she wants me to call up at 11 to get her out! Gonna have a temper tantrum later when she comes home and I haven’t done it! Once they are in, they are in. It’s a must needed break! I have my two youngest at home today! Both not well! One with ADHD and suspected asd! And the youngest that’s showing signs of autism! That’s a struggle with them throwing up and my eldest moaning as she had to go to school

Have seen a lot of awards on Facebook this morning. A few declines too. I'm going to try and wait for Friday to ring. I almost hope a DM calls me as a lot has happened in the last month that I suppose may support our claim. Still, I guess that is what happens when you are waiting 6 months. So much changes and surely that adds to paperwork / timings

Call handler today said they are still working on first week of July dates. At least sons evidence has now been scanned on

Not quite as senior as you scan date 26/1/24, declined altogether June 24 and MR scan date 26/7/24… 😴
hope you get some good news soon it’s so exhausting isn’t it especially when you know your child is entitled & dla could be put to good use for them.. from what I’ve seen it’s very much pop luck on the DM

Surely they should be middle of July now🤦🏽‍♀️ 20 weeks tomorrow😭

4th today still nothing just that it's in the correct department and shoukd be made within few days

They probably are, she just said she knew they were in July still and on first week but wasn’t a DM just call handler. 17 plus 1 although feels much longer 🤨

I was call right now asking about my son claim (mobility part he turns 5 in august) forms scanned 12.07 still no decision no with DM😢

If they are on the beginning to middle of July up to next week, then the following week will be end of July beginning of August. I have a feeling we are both going to hear just before Christmas🤞🏽

Just had call off dwp...I put my son dob 2024 instead 2018 and she will be making descion today and will recieve letter in 7 to 10 days with the outcome
Fingers crossed it's the right result he had sever asthma and awaiting adhd pathway on sen plan with school

Only had doctors contact and school to put on form no official evidence so fingercrossed this is all we need to get o good result

Just had a phonecall from case handler, we're being awarded DLA from 3/7/24, was due to hear by 11/12/24..sorry don't know scan date or award amount

Post Office has lost my evidence 😭 so I have to resend it. DLA told me working on July and that's the only info she had. Think that's another script 🙄 congratulations to all who have received and fingers crossed to all who are still waiting

Dates on FB all seemed to be 20/07 onwards. I've seen some August too. (These are NC I think) sorry haven't seen any MR specific posts.

I really hope you’re right. It would be nice to know either way at this point.
