Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July for decisions! xx

Sc 19/07 new claim called Monday 25/11 told 20 weeks to reach a dm and can be between 1-5 weeks from there x

SD 2/8 week 17 this Friday.

MR scan date 18/07

SD 22/7 new claim, praying before Christmas I hear something 🙏🏻 good luck all!

Congratulations on the awards today. I hope to see more as the week goes on. Just a heads up, I put on my UC journal about back pay and got ignored , so I called and got through to a lovely man who escalated it. Getting paid on Friday! Please call if they don’t respond to your journal x

Awarded MRC for my 3 year old declined mobility have asked for statement of reasons as considering a MR

Scan date 09/08 new claim, 16 weeks this Friday, the wait is really dragging out now and I know I could have a month plus possibly even longer left to wait! 😩 Congratulations on all those awarded today, this group along with Facebook are what is really keeping me going!

I received a message saying there was no timeframe. Might be worth calling and asking them to escalate?

Just over 19 weeks and have my fingers crossed I hear something soon as going slightly crazy. It took 8 weeks when I applied for my eldest a few years ago

Scan date 08/06 for a COC. Have rung a few times and also rang to see if they uploaded new evidence. I don't really know what they'll change if at all. My daughter received MRC and LRM diagnosed autism. Did a COC for ADHD diagnosis and her EHCP she's just received as she has a 1:1 for majority of the day including lunch and breaks. Not sure if she will qualify for HRC or not. I also sent a diary for over a week showing her waking at night

Our SD is 06/08/2024 for new claim. Spoke to them today for the first time and they said it’s unlikely we will hear until after Xmas now 😩

I have heard people being told no decision then a decision a day later! Only hope I'm holding on too atm! X

Sd 8/7 for new claim. Called on Monday, as the end of the week prior had been told they had everything they needed and I should have an answer, to be told last Tuesday they sent a form to the school. School can't find the school but the senco did me a report and I've sent it today so hoping it gets scanned on tomorrow and hopefully a decision before the week is over. Good luck everyone x

SD 9/7 new claim was awarded MRC for my 3 year old 18/11 & had back pay 21/11 received the letter 23/11 also
SD 16/7 new claim for my 14 year old! Had no idea I could even claim! No news yet x

That’s good to know. I wrote on journal yesterday and made a change on it. I just had an update that it was verified but that was it. I heard claims on uc were up to 16 weeks for back pay. May I ask what you applied for? I work 20 hours a week and earn around £950 per month. So guessing the carers element is it for the £155 is best? Xxx

I was 12.07 and was awarded Friday last week 22/11. Awaiting back pay xxx

Called today said its still not with a decision maker and to call back Friday when it will be 20 weeks.

Sd 29/07 nc. 17 weeks and 2 days and still no updates
