Yeah I would normally, but I'm at uni all day tomorrow and don't finish until 5pm.

However my daughters DLA payment hits the bank on Tuesday so I'm hoping it will also have a back payment added.

Same and not even 20 weeks yet! We just really need the money as I’ve been off work for so long looking after my boys and they’ve broken so much stuff that needs replacing. TV may not seem like a priority but given that it regulates them it really is!

This is the same with me. Had to stop working due to the school constantly ringing me to pick up my son (aged 5) constantly getting excluded. Now he’s on a reduced time table which is only 45 mins a day Monday -Thursday and I have to attend with him. The much stuff has been broken since him being home now. Have two other children too. Stressful

Oh this sounds so familiar, my boys are 5 too (plus 3 teenagers, 2 with additional needs). One of my boys was excluded 8 times in reception, he’s now in an intervention school for 2 terms. I can’t imagine how hard it must be without that break for you!

Yeah it’s tuff isn’t it.. Mine is in year 1 now but obviously doesn’t really attend only at 2pm for 45 mins had multiple exclusions in reception. I have another son who is 9 he’s waiting for an adhd assessment, and 3 year old girl. My 5 year old now has extreme anxiety when going into school for his 45 mins. make you think about what treatment they receive behind closed doors. Applied for an EHCP wish I’m praying he gets as then he can go to a school where people understand him and are trained to look after sen children xx

No I missed a call this morning when I was getting the kids sorted for school, DM left a voicemail saying she needed some important information from me. She made her decision but wouldnt tell me, so I left it an hour or so and called and they told me on the phone! I was shocked as I didn’t think we would get it x

Just called back and a decision has been made today! Scan date for a new claim 3/7. 20 weeks and 1 day wait.

After all this waiting my son has been awarded MRC and LRM until 2026, I feel so overwhelmed and thankful they understood my child’s needs 🙏

I hope you all get the decisions you deserve and don’t have to wait too long and thank you for everyone who offered advice and just a chat through the long process.

Amazing news 😁 congratulations 🎉

I’m so fed up. Want to cry with this waiting my anxiety is through the roof

Oh no! You’ve been so positive and supportive to everyone else. You can do this. You’ve come so far and even prepared for next steps which I hope neither of us will need to do. Honestly I wish they knew how these delays affect us, it’s so much more than just a payment. Stay positive, we are here xxx

JY979797 · 21/11/2024 22:18

I just want to say a thankyou to everyone in this group who kept me going for the last 20 weeks with support and advice and good luck to all of you still waiting to hear! Keep smashing it and fighting for what your children deserve. 💕

Holdtightrelax · 21/11/2024 23:56

I’m so happy for everyone that’s got awarded and will always support others. But these call handlers with their script saying at every opportunity that claims are done in date order when it’s not is a joke at this point. Never been so stressed in all my life I really can’t cope🤦🏽‍♀️

NimbleQuail · 22/11/2024 06:25

Good morning. Fingers crossed for awards today. I’m going to phone first thing (have a meeting at 9:30 so hopefully will get through) to get my MR decision. Yesterday I went through to the option for MR, is this the best one do you think?

I’ve seen that a lot of people have been ringing through to different options. Tbf the call handlers for MR aren’t as nice as the others😂

gemr93x · 22/11/2024 06:33

SD 17/07. Going to ring towards the end of the day just on the off chance if they were doing 12/7 yesterday and I’ve seen some for 18/7 on fb 🤷🏼‍♀️ expecting to be told the usual ring back after 20 weeks though!
