My MR is still in the holding pile☹️ 18 weeks today feels like a life time

Seen a few awards for new claims up to the 15/07 so I think you’ll hear very soon

Rang yesterday to change GP details, I was told I was in holding queue 3, which means 3 from main queue (whatever that means???). Said I should hear by mid December.

I can’t as I’ve got a meeting in half an hour that won’t finish until five. I might have the opportunity to call at 9am tomorrow…

They really do especially since there sooo behind 😩

Just sent a message to my son’s school teacher to do a supporting letter for our MR. He only started September so I wanted them to get to know him and how to handle him so they could write it truthfully. Fingers crossed they do it🤞🏽🤞🏽

I feel like I’m in for the full 20 weeks at least. I just called to give some additional information and no news yet. 19 weeks tomorrow. I think I’m going to go mad in the next week! Did manage to request a text though so that’s good if it happens.

Just called and got straight through but they said they can’t give MR decisions over the phone.

He said they’re not allowed to give decisions for MR on the phone, no one can, he said he can look to see if one has been made but can’t tell me what it is. The lady said she would make a decision when I spoke to her a couple of hours ago. SD 23/7. I just said to him not to worry then. Didn’t even go past security

Oh people on Facebook have been told on the phone for MR. Suppose it’s just who you talk to, fingers crossed for you🤞🏽🤞🏽

Just called back and a decision has been made today! Scan date for a new claim 3/7. 20 weeks and 1 day wait.

After all this waiting my son has been awarded MRC and LRM until 2026, I feel so overwhelmed and thankful they understood my child’s needs 🙏

I hope you all get the decisions you deserve and don’t have to wait too long and thank you for everyone who offered advice and just a chat through the long process.

It really is, thank you! just wanted to post because you hear so many horror stories and it can really knock you, but fight for what you believe and what you know your little ones are entitled too!
