DLA waiting times continue from thread 55

They defo can, i got my decision via phone call today after a 21 week MR wait! Just asked to be put through to reconsideration team, good luck!

Ah I was looking to tag you earlier but it said the thread was full. I saw an award on fb for a new claim scan date 18/7 so sounds promising it could be us soon🤞 xxxx

Mine was acting put out. It’s for our doctors appointment next week and would give to DWP too. She said I suppose we could do a couple of sentences, really?! They’ve know him since year 7. He’s at a specialist school and are fully aware of how he is. She even said to me if I ask him to do something he just swears at me. Well there you go put that down which is what I said to her!

😂 I’ve been taking it for the MR team asking regularly what scan date they are working at.

I’ve had enough at just under 16 weeks, at worst it’s another 9 weeks of hell but I think it’ll be sooner, still got some optimism about me 😂

They can give it over the phone. If you ask to be put through to the reconsiderations team they can pull up your claim.

It’s ridiculous isn’t it the wait is honestly a nightmare last year I waited 28 weeks for a coc for my son was an absolute killer hang on in there xxx

Just this second got a text to say it's been awarded. I have no idea of the rate. My boy is 3 yrs old with care needs 24hrs a day. But will let you know when I know.

Same and not even 20 weeks yet! We just really need the money as I’ve been off work for so long looking after my boys and they’ve broken so much stuff that needs replacing. TV may not seem like a priority but given that it regulates them it really is!

When I called yesterday he said I had to wait until 20 to 23 weeks and today it got looked at.

So fingers crossed tomorrow is your day !!!!

Eugh. Why do they have to lie? I went through to the option that said for MR and he made it sound like it was a legal thing that they couldn’t tell you.
