Hi just a quick question.I have other country passport but I have indefinite leave to remain. I m in universal credit. DLA ask for my passport and brp for verification when I submitted the forms. Tomorrow I will be 21 week. They said decision has been made but they are waiting for home office for verification. Anyone know how ling roughly it takes.

my scan date is 3/7.

I think there was someone on a previous thread you had to verify passport and status etc. it did take a while because it went to another department maybe 4-8 weeks. Surely if you recieve UC they wouldn’t need to verify agian? Sorry you haven’t to wait to hear the outcome x

Was 12/07. Awarded 22nd November. Back pay was around 27 weeks for DLA. Seen alot awarded 21st and got back back today xx

Emptyabc · 26/11/2024 20:00

Original scan date 26/01/24
declined altogether on 06/24 (my own fault I sent no evidence and statement of reasons where no evidence of ABC)
MR and a massive wod of evidence sent off and received on 26/07/24.
11 year old lad who’s 2 years into waiting for ASD assessment (we’ve done pre screening about a year ago and scored moderate/ high on there, has extreme health anxiety and generalised anxiety, under CHAMS for the last 2 years having 2 weekly sessions, accessing long term CBT, awaiting a minimum of 6 months child phycologist intervention etc..

I believe the system was playing up and someone else had the same issue until they looked further in to the system and confirmed it was HRC, unless that was you whose post I saw

It was me… And believe it or not despite being told by the first woman “I can see the letter, so it’s fine” - I was told just after I posted this “the letter may have been sent incorrectly”. I got myself into an absolute state so the call handler kindly contacted the case worker and got me an answer in 10 minutes! It was indeed a system error and my backpay is due between now and Monday. Insane how it took me five phone calls for someone to finally take action.

Thanks for confirming and glad you got it sorted out. This is what I’m finding I have been told about a scan date of 14/08 which is incorrect. I’ve asked for it to be amended, was told it would be but depending on what part of the screen they are reading they still mention 14/08. I didn’t submit anything then so will keep checking they look at our claim on the right date. Seriously annoying.

I completely appreciate the fact they are inundated with applications, but the way they just pass the buck constantly is infuriating and distressing. I’m so glad I won’t have to ring that number again for a while now! I feel the call handlers don’t get the right training either which isn’t their fault. But I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed you get a positive response soon. I think your SD is about 3.5 weeks behind me if I remember (I was 11/07) so I hope they pick up speed and you hear before Christmas.

It is very frustrating especially when it could be a decline and then we have at least another 25 weeks on top.

I do feel the first 10 weeks waiting has actually gone quite quick but I know the closer it gets, the harder it’s going to be! Keep me updated though as we should hopefully hear around the same time! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Yes will definitely will keep you updated I'm trying to gather more evidence in the mean time to send in because like you said to wait this long for a decline will be a heartache. But positive thinking we WILL be awarded for our children

Have you rang again this afternoon? It’s really hard isn’t it especially when they send letters stating 15 weeks fingers crossed we hear tomorrow or today 🤞🤞 if we don’t hear by 20 weeks then we can make complaints they said to someone else further up the thread

What's getting up my nose is that I had three different answers the past few days and she reckons this afternoon I don't know why they are telling you this when I mentioned I wanted to speak.to someone who knows what's what she started to be funny so I put phone down if I don't hear by Friday next week look out especially if its a no as they could have told me that weeks ago this system is rubbish and attitude on some of them how they got a job like that in the first place beats me

Oh goodness well hopefully you get good news before next week I’m getting fed up with it but not phoning again can’t be bothered like I said with rubbish attitudes and false information each time if I hear I’ll tag you xx

Have you phoned again today? I would phone today see what they say and then tomorrow there is an option on the line to say you’ve been waiting over 20 weeks and go that way x
im 19 weeks and heard nothing myself x
