On a positive note my DC has seen a paediatrician and been put on to the autism pathway today ... 🤞🏼 Paediatrician seems to think the signs are very "obvious" and that's she's "severely delayed" whilst I know medical professionals have to be blunt and honest I wish she said it in a nicer way 😂. We are on week 13, and the report today can take up to 4 weeks to come so probably won't be able to send it in time for decision. Good luck on everyone still waiting and congratulations on all those that have been awarded 🥰

So lovely to read all the awards of recently. Congratulations on those awarded and hopefully this will make a big difference on you and your child’s life. It seems call waiting times are on the increase. Thank you @Brittany95 for posting the DM number, hopefully this will help others. Hopefully not too long for all of us waiting 💐 xx

Yes, I think it’s because of the scan dates past that time frame are being awarded/declined it feels like you’re just in limbo lol x

Thank you hun , honestly i was panicking when she phoned me but when she said my son will be getting awarded i had to ask her if she said he was getting awarded as i thought i was hearing things but she confirmed he was getting awarded and to phone tomorrow to find out the rate.

I called today today to give an update. The man on the phone said because it's a MR he was putting me through to a case manager to go through the changes.
Unfortunately all CM's were busy and he said one will call me back with in 2 days. I'm hoping they take all my info and think sod it I might as well do it now 😂 I'm 11+5 weeks on a MR

@GemzZ92 I would do it anyway hun just try send it quick! I'm sure if you add your child name and reference to every bit of evidence and send it off they can add it to your claim! Hoping we both hear something soon tho! I'm really struggling I will be completely honest x

Might give them a call and see what they say....if its already with a DM which im hoping it is then it'd be pointless wouldnt it. Dont fancy dragging my boys to the library and the post office if i dont need to. Especially not in this heat 🤣

Has anybody received any texts? My little boy was awarded in may and i received the text saying ‘we’re still looking at your claim’ then a week later an award text this time I’ve received none

Aw thank you soo much hun🥰 i honestly went all shaky and breathless whilst on phone with the DM due to anxiety and when she said she had enough info and that my son will be getting awarded i honestly thought i was hearing things so i had to double check and ask her iff thats what she said and she confirmed it was.
now i just need to phone up first thing in the morning to find out what rate 🤞🏻 hoping i get through straight away so i can do update on UC journal before i have to go to my restart programme meeting

SD 12/04 new claim. I called up today to check they had received evidence that I’d sent in a couple of weeks ago. They hadn’t 🙄.

But the nice guy on the phone did tell me that it was a with decision maker and I should get a decision in the next week or two. Just an fyi for anyone with a SD around mine.

I had the same problem and had to send it in again! Nightmare

That's amazing news hun! Most people get a decision quite quickly fingers crossed for you! I may ring tomorrow or Friday again I'm 17 weeks Friday but when I rang last Friday the lovely lady told me it wasn't even with a decision maker yet. Long wait but so thrilled for people hearing the news they've waited so long for ! Please keep us all updated of your news! Good luck x

I’ve had a missed call from that number on the 19th 😬 got awarded today. My friend thinks we’ve been awarded mid rate but no mobility I don’t think I applied for that, the forms are so confusing and intimidating, she reckons we should get mobility for the danger and extra supervision aspect but I thought mobility was if they couldn’t walk 😬 I should’ve asked for help on the forms 🤦🏻‍♀️ did it all by myself as usual

Called 22/07 and they said awaiting a National Insurance number .. I am on child benefit since DS was born (3years old now ) however when I check Hmrc child benefit online it says I don’t have a claim . When i call child benefit they can see my claim on their side too and I receive my CB payments but it’s just not on the online service .. is there anyone that’s had this or similar situation? Does anyone know how long it will take DLA to allocate a National insurance number for him ? And does this mean that my claim is going to be longer than the estimated time ?
