Honestly i was relieved that it was someone nice on the phone when i rang , and thank you i hope soo too i have everything crossed that i have a possitive outcome before we go away next week so that i can just enjoy the holiday without the stress or worry of it all 🤞🏻

@Emssxo hey just thought id let you know i phoned up this morning and was told my claim was with dm and hopefully ill hear soon. Thought id let you know with your SD being close to mine , and hopefully yours will be with dm or will soon be with a dm and hopefully we will both have a decision soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻 good luck x

However i must say im feeling super anxious knowing its with a dm and the lady saying shes put on system for me to get text when decision is made. But honestly Id deffo ring on friday when your 17weeks as yours may be with dm then 🤞🏻 my fingers are crossed for us both

I've had to stop working as the holiday club couldn't cope with my daughters meltdowns but when I called up they give me no information and say they can't even tell me if it's with a dm? I've finally had the text!! I'm not sure about rates going to just wait for backpay/letter as I only rang yesterday for an update and don't want to call again today. They did say I'd get a text and kept to that.

S/D 2nd april, but they changed it to the 1st as if it wasn't a bank holiday, they would have received it earlier, and 1st was my cut-off date. So 17 weeks/17 weeks plus 1 day. Hold in there, I was sure I was getting a decline, and I questioned the evidence even though I sent loads. Finger's crossed, everyone still waiting hears soon, and those with later scan dates aren't waiting as long it's horrendous.

I phoned up at 10am this morning 0800 121 4600 then options 1523 . I just said to the lady who answered the phone that i was phoning for an update on my claim or to check the progress. she then took ref number, and went through security questions and told me its with DM and shouldnt be long before i hear and that she put note on system for me to get text when decision has been made.
i think it just depends who answers the phone what info you get , ive only called twice which was today and last thursday but both people i spoke to were lovely. But both times i did just say i was worried/anxious that i havent heard anything yet.

i dont know what time you phoned but i phoned about 9-10am time when its quicker to get through, so iff you ring that time tomorrow hopefully you will be able to get more information that way ☺️

Hi, my scan date was 19/2, awarded 22/6 , but still waiting for universal credit back pay, any idea how long they take ?

Hi everyone just to say I finally got an answer yesterday afternoon s/d 19.03 so was waiting 18 weeks 6 days I didn’t have a text or anything so called around 4pm and she said an answer had just been made but she couldn’t tell me so put me through to some one who could! So my little boy was awarded hrc to the day before he’s 5 so 2 and half years! Was so shocked I thought it be declined because of the time it was taking so hang in there everyone I hope you all get positive news asap 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Also just to add they told me they had lost his birth certificate but it had only been scanned on yesterday! I sent that back in April!

Thank you, I'm so relieved its over. They said to me yesterday when it goes to the dm they usually have a decision between 10 and 14 days but can be sooner, my sons claim had been with them since the 18th of this month so if you count Saturday as some were working overtime it was with them for 10 days.

It's the last bit isn't it you sit thinking of the evidence you sent and if it's enough, then seeing people after you awarded it is anxiety inducing they really should try to overhaul the whole system, maybe online tracking or something.

Fingers crossed by the end of this week your wait will be over

Honestly its the worst im doubting myself soo much thinking i havent explained his needs clearly, the forms where soo overwhelming to fill out. I did write quite alot about his needs but more like bullet points about each of his needs/struggles and sent in evidence too so hopefully its enough as i dont want to let my son down i feel soo useless . Im Just trying to stay possitive and not doubt myself and hopefully we will get possitive outcome soon 🤞🏻

Only got ours back today and they had it since may ! I kept hearing people saying they got them back within a couple of weeks I even ordered a new one last week because I need it for nursery !

Quick question, I am aware of how to update UC in regards to my son recieving DLA but how do I request they backdate the disabled child element to my SD? Is that even the correct thing to do? X

Do DLA call off unknown? just had 2 unknown calls at 5pm x

I have seen some people have had calls from withheld and others 0800 number however a lot of people have said if you miss a call they normally leave a message to say they had tried to contact you and will try again soon x

I think your best bet would be to leave a message on your journal requesting it x

Anyone who has Facebook have any updates for scan dates this week. I've just read on a previous thread on here that someone 12th april has been awarded. Super disheartening when my scan date is 5/04 so 17 weeks Friday. Really trying not to ring again because it feels abit pointless but so does sitting here feeling helpless 😩
