So I've braved and rang again and it was looked at yesterday scan date 18/3 but I have missed a question so instead of ringing me a form needs to be sent out and they ain't even sent it lady on phone said she will send it out. So stupid that they could of just rang me as the question was my nationality really pathetic how this can hold a claim up. Anyone no how long it takes to receive a letter from them please?

I've had 2 letters from them and it takes anything from dla 2 weeks to get to my address, not sure if she would be the same for you too tho, really silly how a question like that can delay things, I hope you are okay, you deserve an answer x

Thank you I'm going to ring them back and ask if I could just send in a letter saying my nationality is British as it is dragging on now and they send things 2nd class so takes longer. I'm okay just a bit annoyed that they could of picked up the phone to confirm this as it's not really important what nationality we are the disabilities and care don't change they same no matter what.. thank you hope you hear something soon x

Just got straight back through said I could send a letter saying my nationality instead of waiting for them sending it.. will get it sent off might even send copies of birth certificate to cover me as no doubt will come back with something else. Don't no why they couldn't check with my national insurance number my nationality

Rang this morning 15 weeks today
Woman was a little abrupt.. told me was in holding pile to be assigned to DM wait is now 20 weeks so wait till end of August...

That’s ridiculous, surely they could have let you know that straight away so you could have sorted it out earlier on. Hopefully you will hear back from them soon and that was the only thing holding your application up.

It's disgusting that they looked at claim yesterday and if I never rang up the letter wouldn't be getting sent out as she said its not been sent out I'll do it for you now. Rang back and said I could send a letter so just sent a quick note explaining I missed a questions me and my son are white British as she didn't state who I missed lol was going to send copy of birth certificates off but library is closed so couldn't get then scanned and I've seen on here people lose I'd sent so wasn't given it the chance to go missing x

Hi that's what I said on phone couldn't you let me no before this and she said no your claim only got looked at yesterday she checked what question it was I missed and then I said could I not just tell you on phone she said no needs to be sent so I said okay she said letter isn't sent I'll do it now so got me thinking when we're they going to let me no about this. It's ridiculous and I rang the 523 way asked for an update she said no decisions been made yet oh wait there you missed a question went through me form found the question and stated what I've just said.
I think some of then can't be bothered to check so they just tell you 20 weeks we're others do they job and have a look

I'm 16 weeks Friday sd 5/04 and my emotions are out of control. I think I need to ring just to have some sort of confirmation it's still with them or something just to try calm my mind. Heard nothing from them since may which I understand is normal but I genuinely think it's the no communication that's affecting me so much at this point not sure about anyone else?Does anyone know the correct number to ring?

I no its disgusting how they make us wait and withhold information from us and thank you I go on holiday Friday I now no it won't be sorted for before so I'll worry about when I get back.

I just called. I got straight through and spoke to a lovely handler who confirmed my child had been awarded and she politely asked if I wanted to speak to somebody who could give me more information, and she put me through. They said my child has been awarded high care and low mobility until 2027 . Decision was made on the 18th last week, so just over 15 weeks for this decision.

It was over the 6 week period from you calling for forms to scan date, so HRC and HRM from your scan date but call to double check
