DLA wait time thread 43

definitely there problem isn’t it, my husbands work have been so confused, they said they’ve done everything as normal so not sure what else they could do.
cant be coincidence that the dla comes though, I make a change or circumstances and my next payment is all messed up.
can I ask how you resolved it if you did?
They eventually got back to me late today and asked me to ask my husband to contact them but they said it probably won’t be sorted as my payment is due tomorrow, so now next months payment will be incorrect. I need to sit down tonight and try and calculate what I think we should be due then I can put the extra away for the month after. Pain they are. I like to be organised with our finances and this hasn’t helped.

My wage is the same every month but I have to report my earnings myself now each month. But I haven’t had the DLA part added to my payment yet as my little
boy has only just been awarded years so I’m sure that will get messed up when they try and sort that 🤦🏼‍♀️

i was awarded Tuesday morning x

Awarded today said back pay Tuesday x

I'm 14weeks for coc 2 letters but no text yet phoned last week was told 15 weeks for coc looking at end of may first week of June
Scan date 16/02

Just called to check again, they couldn't tell me over the phone so asked if i could be transferred to someone who can. Spoke to a lovely man who told me that my daughter has been awarded LRM and MRC until January 2026. Shes 13 now. Im so happy, hopefully this is what is needed to help her. Scan date 5/2 Feb.

I always looked out for these so here goes.. scan date 14/02 and called today to find out that my boy has been awarded Hrc and Lrm. I just can't get over it.. it means I can get him the help he so desperately needs ❤️ Good luck to everybody waiting. I'm still shaking!

I got text on Tuesday, backpay in today. When I rang them they said it was due to be in my account by 28/06 or before.

Nothing went in today so I think it will be Tuesday

Does anyone know how long it takes UC to verify the DLA claim and pay the back pay also? x

I’m having a nightmare with these there saying they can’t verify my child’s details

Oh no… when did you first ask them?? Have you sent them a photo of your award letter?

I asked them Thursday they got back to me yesterday. Told me go into report a change again and check if the names spelt right but I hadn’t put a hyphen in he’s name so I’m hoping that’s what’s causing it. Do you have to send proof of award in

Ahhh I see. I did the change on Thursday and they said they can’t tell me how long it will take. I asked if I needed to send the letter when I get it and they said no. But I’ve seen some on here who have been asked to send it 🙈

it Has taken them 6 weeks to verify my daughters . It’s all sorted on this uc statement but I’m still waiting for what they owe us backdated money .

@222a hey, I’ve just called and they said my daughters claim was scanned on 21/5, have you called yet?

@Crazyhouse4 called on Friday and they said they couldn’t find it they said to give it another week otherwise I will have to do the form again and resend it ☹️

I called one Wednesday last week, it would have been scanned on the day before but they told me to wait another week too, I would call to check it should be on there by now. I can’t believe it’s taken so long to be scanned on
