DLA wait time thread 43

@Fee89 when you phoned tax credits to update did you have the award letter on you, as I have just spoke to tax credits and refused to do as I don't have the letter yet or something x

Just rang not even been picked up 15 weeks today 😫

I rang today scan date 20/3 told me it will be August before a decision

I was just asked date i was awarded and told them i rang and got told it was dated from 29th april (same date i rang) xx

@Fee89 Thanks for remembering dear 💗 I'm actually just literally had a call. After 35 min of hold was connected with very straight forward lady, who after all the security questions could see straight away how ridiculously long I have waited. She said she will e mail to Case manager to make it an emergency now. I didn't ask anything more as could feel there's still no decision. Just told her that I'm aware that case is unusual, but it's already 4 weeks since talking to the case manager, and my anxiety levels at this point is out of the roof. She said: I will sort this out as emergency now, don't you worry.
And now... I'm waiting..again 🙃😫🤯😵‍💫

@Fee89 where are you with your MR in process?

Does anyone know what date you put the change for universal credits? Is it the scan date? Or am I better of waiting for the actual letter. Many thanks! Xx

@Matilde08 Hopefully she sticks to her word and it gets sorted asap. Sometimes it just takes that one person to get it sorted. I recieved text last week stating 4 weeks but iv seen people waiting 12-15 weeks so god knows. This week iv been sorting my pip out as thats been 50 weeks 😬🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

Monday will be 15 weeks for us too, not been pickup as well.

I obviously got a jobs worth of a caller will call again and try someone new lol

Not sure but I think there computers are all connected I’ve just put from scan date and left a note in my journal to say I was awarded yesterday and back dated to 01/02/2024 xx

If they ask the date tell them date you were awarded from even if its todays date. I let them know monday and by tuesday evening payments had changed and had backpay thursday. They are really quick with it xx

I really hope she's that person as she was straight forward that it needs to be treated like an emergency now and she will sort this out. Obviously after all this waiting my optimistic side is down, but will give them couple of days. The complaint letter is ready to be sent out as much as I don't want to do it, I'll be at the point there's no other options left.

50 weeks for PIP?? 🤯 I just don't get why they can't make those claims more electronic ones, where you can look for an update, upload evidence and other paperwork. All this calling, waiting, guessing.. it's 😵‍💫🤯

I know what you mean, you dont want to complain but then again it stops anyone else being treated the same way 🤦🏻‍♀️. Can imagine you take what they say with a pinch of salt. Do think dla & pip need to be online. It makes more sense people being able to track claims and do renewals xx

06.02 Crying 😢 Recieved the text this morning. Called and my little boy (3) awarded HRC for 2 years. I can't believe it after months of struggling with having to leave work to meet his needs 😩 I'm so happy

I'm the same scan date as you but they told me July, I think it depends on what call handler you get and what mood they're in tbh xx

I know what you mean, but I'm at this point where I have overthouhgt som much this whole waiting saga, I fear what if my complaint affect some how the outcome and decision at the end. I know it's ridiculous, but here I am thinking the worse and fearing to stand by my boys rights...
