Scan date 13/11, with DM for over 3 weeks and still nothing.
I am going to assume they will never get back to me and just move on I guess.
Week 9 of CA so I guess that will be the same.

Mines still with Dm, honestly hate the way they talk because it sounds like an award 😂 they say things like “you’ll get a text when the award is made” “what bank will the award be paid into” gets me all excited to then tell me no decision

These waiting times are a joke 😩

I called this morning, she said my case is down as a priority and is with a case manager. She said they usually make a decision within 2 weeks

I think I am getting a decision on the DLA todayvia text and now just panicking because I think if you wait this long you will get a decline and my other child's claim was so much quicker and was approved. But sending it out to the universe to get awarded. Thank you universe.

I was told by the CA unit that all I can do is wait.

How’s everyone getting on with UC?
im having a right polava, asked for the backdated elements then received a notice on Journal yesterday I had to literally re-do my entire claim which is bizarre because they needed to verify all my children AGAIN!
mind-blown 😂
not just wait for verification of the award for my son but verify every single child even my ones who don’t receive any disability elements I’m just baffled 🙈
had to do housing costs send in my contract literally it all from scratch!

Long term watcher here. Thought I'd share.
Rang for form 18/10. DLA Received form 29/11.
16 weeks today from when they received it. I sent in a lot of extra pages.
2 letters, 1 text 11/3 'we are still looking at your claim...'
Then today I got the text saying 'We've decided your child qualifies for Disability Living Allowance...'.
I'm so relieved guys no idea what rate or when to expect first or back payment.
Fingers crossed its at least Middle as that's what the doctors said he should get.
Does anyone know how long it normally takes for first payment after text award?

Finally after the longest 24 weeks in total my daughter has been accepted for middle rate care .. she’s been accepted today and payment issued today anyone have idea of when this may hit my bank … what a long process.. don’t give up people fight for what your children deserve x
