Do they scan documents in the system the same day they receive them?

They recieved mine yesterday at 6.30am I phoned in the morning told it wasn't and to give it 2 days. I phoned again today and it was scanned on yesterday x

No, I waited nearly 4 weeks for them to scan my sons birth certificate

It took around a week and a half for them to scan extra info xx

Long time lurking, but after seeing all the awards today I decided to call for an update.

Was given a date of 9th May for a decision and told to call back if I've not heard anything by then. (20 weeks from scan date)

6 more weeks, hopefully 🙏

has processing claims got anything to
do with area? The whole process just seems completely random.

Same date as you mine is with a DM

I think it's mainly how fast the DMs work tbh x

Long time lurker here, I have scan date of 15/12 and finally caved in today to get update on my claim to be told they sent a letter to my son's school for further evidence yesterday, he is high masking at school with a teacher that won't acknowledge anything and I know the form she fills in will portray a 'normal' child....does anyone have any experience similar to this, I'm worried I'm going to look insane to DLA

We were declined after our DM contacted my daughters school, they said she didn't need any further support than any other child her age, she masks heavily at school also, I've tried 3 times to get her assessed for asd/adhd but as the school don't support me we've been declined further assessment. I'm currently 3 weeks into an MR. I hope they take into account what you've said and not just the school. Sorry for the bad news, this has been my experience hopefully your DM will also take into account what you've said.

Iv just rang again 15-12 got the loverly Mohammed who seemed to have his voice on repeat “you will not get decision before 20 weeks they are still on October” that’s all he kept saying to anything I asked think someone’s been smoking the wacky backy he didn’t have a clue

Most people have been getting decisions by week 17 from what I've seen in week 16 and with a DM I'm goons ring up later to see if I've been awarded yet 🤞🏽 hopefully you don't have to wait that long x

MR is with decision maker, we have gone under smi and vuw they have put a note on the system saying they have reached out for more advice from medical experts about our case, sounds quite positive that the dm did not dismis it from the bat like I thought
New claim scan 21/12 not with dm yet been told its at the top of the pile to go to dm should be there within a week, who knows

Yours is the closest scan date I've seen to mine 22/12 I've just rang to check extra paperwork has been scanned in. Received Monday and scanned Monday. I asked if she could see any info in what part of the process the claim was and she said its into the processing department now and is on the top of the pile to be looked at within the next week. Either we both got the same person or dare I believe it actually might be true!

🤣🤣🤣 I had him on Monday at 5.13pm telling me no decision yet and I won't hear anything till end of April. I was awarded on Monday lol! He told me I was 18 weeks as well...I wasn't. I was 16 weeks 🤣🤣 x

If anyone gets Francis when they ring up please tell her she's lovely from me, and really helpful. And that the stupid questionnaire made up answers for me today and I was totally satisfied with my call unlike what the questionnaire kept doing 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣

Honestly I got that stressed with him I put the phone down it was as if he recorder the same phrase to play down the phone so stressful and glad u been awarded what was ur scan date it’s giving me hope xx

🤣🤣🤣 reading from a script obviously. Think he is new because he is just generic and doesn't have any common sense yet. Whereas someone who's been there linger tends to put their head above the parapet and check different screens lol.
I'm scan date 4/12. Called up for forms 2/11.
A decision was made exactly 16 weeks from scan date. And was with DM last Friday.
What's your date? I get lost with everyone's dates 🤣🤣 x

The first time I ever rang them was February it was on a Monday and the bloke on the phone said I should hear by the end of the week and I'm still hear 😂😂

Mines the 15-12 honestly it’s making me insane this waiting it’s the not knowing and they don’t seem to go in any order they do a few from all over the place I seem January’s been awarded I don’t even no where mine is In the system or if it’s even with a decision maker xx
