I was a day before you and just heard, so hopefully soon, fingers crossed for you x DD was 15 though so already had a NI number by the time I'd submitted the application, not sure if that makes a difference?

Thankyou this gives me some hope my daughter is 14 I’m not sure at all

No they didn't when I phoned again today they said it shouldn't be too much longer now I know they told you the date they requested it but did they say much longer it will be xx

No she didn’t tell me how long it would be. I really hope they’re right and yours isn’t too much longer - you’re 2 weeks ahead of me! And I know there are lots of others with earlier dates too xxx

Lulakate84 · 27/03/2024 11:33

Hi does anyone know how to put in change of circumstances for UC for your child being awarded DLA an to get the back pay?
I remember someone had a sheet/template but I can't find it?

xxMumofthreexx · 27/03/2024 11:41

I phoned again 🤣 8/12

Apparently mines going to a decision maker in the next couple of days and letters I'd sent in from the hospital have been scanned on to the system now.

HG95 · 27/03/2024 11:49

Mines been with a dm for about a month now I'm hoping they get to it soon. Going to stop ringing now and just wait it out

Lodol · 27/03/2024 12:02

Hi what are peoples lengths of awards?
my daughter was previously awarded for 2 years, my sons is similar but I am now seeing people similar to him only being awarded for 1 year!

Hopefully we hear soon 🤞 I'm not actually holding on to any hope it will be as I've had so many reasons and excuses already. X

I know some people get texts to say they've been awarded but has anyone had a text to say they've been declined? 15 weeks today and my anxiety is through the roof! Congratulations on all of your awards today x

Some people who have been declined have received a text message saying "A decision has been made on your child's DLA claim."

Tierdmama · 27/03/2024 12:55

Parking 14-12
hopefully not much longer

mrsclarke89 · 27/03/2024 11:23

Hi all. Scan date 12/12. I was told on Monday i would have a decision by April 2nd! Don't think thats going to be true. Do all claims need a national insurance number? My little one is 3. The reference number looks like a Nino number Easter Hmm

12/12 too, told last Tuesday was with DM, told this Monday it wasn't, told this tuesday it was deffo with a DM and today was told 29th of April 😂 you get the gist though, 1) you get told whatever suits that person on the day it could be with a DM then the next day they can't even find you in the system & 2) I'm a serial caller 😂 looks like another new thread will be coming soon aswell & il still be part of it 😩😩

@TiredTilly are you calling this morning xx

I called the quick number they told me they can’t help me, I’d have to ring existing claims. Just left it 🙁 have you called?xx

mrsclarke89 · 27/03/2024 13:06

@MLW92 haha sounds very similar to me!! I did ask was he sure 2nd April and he was certain and it was about to moved to a DM. Just dont know anymore 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

TiredTilly · 27/03/2024 13:06

Emmajm85 · 27/03/2024 07:31

😂😂 this made me laugh because I check my bank every morning and again in the afternoon, just incase 🤣
it does make you feel like you’re going crazy. I’m doing my best just to put it to the back of my mind, but I’m finding I’m more anxious about it the more time goes on 🙈 I wonder how many people have had to wait for a NIno and then had a decline 🤔
it seems odd that they would get it if they don’t need to process any payments. Keeping everything crossed that your little one gets the award they deserve 💕 xxx

Right! I’ve been following these threads since part 11. Since November! I’ve grown 3 greys since then, I honestly don’t know anything more stressful. I really hope he does get an award after all this wait.
thank you hun x
i hope your little one gets what she deserves💐❤️

Make sure you join thread 37 and let us know come the 2nd 😂 tbh the week before us are getting awards today, so hopefully that's right, but I was told 29th of April 😂 which is another month away ffs lol it really is a lotto, I was hoping because he's already got a diagnosis that they wouldn't need to contact anyone which would then make it quicker, but we will see 🤦‍♀️

TiredTilly · 27/03/2024 13:18

kristie198 · 27/03/2024 13:13
