Hi all,
Just rang again im on week 9. I was advised that it is with a decision maker and if I haven't heard anything by next Friday to ring again then. Apparently it should be done within 10 weeks but I'm not holding out hope. I can see a tribunal coming on at this rate. I've only sent 3 pieces of evidence but one is from the pediatrician so that gives me a little hope. Fingers crossed everyone.

Lulakate84 · 26/03/2024 11:13

Mummytoviboys · 26/03/2024 11:22

@Lulakate84
weve all waited far too long, it’s not fair! They can’t expect us to wait that long again!

Lulakate84 · 26/03/2024 11:45

I'm hoping it won't be much longer. This started on 22/8 it's been a long 30 weeks so far! I'll keep everyone updated.

Lulakate84 · 27/03/2024 12:31

Hi all Im so relieved to be updating you there is light at end of the tunnel, had call from DM today an she is awarding my daughter MRC I am crying x

sjm100 · 27/03/2024 12:36

@Lulakate84 congratulations, I'm so happy for you! is it being backdated?

Lulakate84 · 27/03/2024 12:37

@sjm100 yes 33 weeks, I'm punching myself I won't believe til I have money or letter, she can't change her mind can she haha, I just hope it gives hope to everyone waiting x

sjm100 · 27/03/2024 12:42

@Lulakate84 That's amazing news, I'm so happy for you, MRC is what I expected for my daughter. My niece has the same issues and gets HRC but her anxiety is so bad she's not in school, where I have always bargained with my daughter, she has to show up and if things are too bad I will always pick her up. So far, I've never needed to but its a kick in the teeth to know that they have the same issues and we were declined. We are only 3 weeks in MR so 19 weeks since I called for forms. It definitely gives me hope x

Lulakate84 · 27/03/2024 12:43

Good I'm glad xx

LancsMcG · 27/03/2024 12:57

@Lulakate84 oh that's great news - we got awarded LRC and expected MRC - so hope ours is worth it (sent in more evidence)

I'm so happy for you

Mummytoviboys · 27/03/2024 16:40

@Lulakate84 congratulations, you must be so relieved 😅 I might ring for an update tomorrow as I’ll be 9 weeks Friday! Xx

Komahra · 27/03/2024 16:51

That some great news today. I didnt recive letter or text messages but I ring on Monday and lady told me that she will put in the system.

4outof4 · 27/03/2024 18:44

My sons MR was signed for on the 12th Jan, called today as it'll be 11 weeks Friday and hadn't heard anything from them to acknowledge. With sooner dates being awarded I thought it may have been missed.
It's on the system with a decision maker and he was going to "flag it" as they're not expecting MR's to take 11 weeks.

Mummytoviboys · 27/03/2024 20:03

@4outof4 wow that’s a long time! Hopefully you hear something soon 🤞x

4outof4 · 27/03/2024 20:12

Initially waiting since the 29th August so hoping it's over soon and doesn't need to go to tribunal.

Bearintheredhat · 28/03/2024 07:53

Does anyone know if a MR has to be submitted within one month of the original decision or one year of the original decision?
I’ve googled and found both as an answer.

Komahra · 28/03/2024 08:00

Yes, but when I called for letter with explanation they add me 2 weeks more in this letter
