@Tangerin what is your scan date x i am 2/11 i had that 15 week text last week and called this morning to be told it will be going to DM any day.. this wait is agonising x

Margot82x · 23/02/2024 11:34

I called for an update, requested by SENco for funding etc.

spoke to a lady and said still in a holding queue however should have a decision by the second week of March which will be around 16 weeks from scan date (22/11) and roughly 21 weeks from calling from forms. If not heard by second week to call back.

xx

STEPH691 · 23/02/2024 11:38

mummyof3girlsx · 23/02/2024 11:39

@STEPH691 Me too.. only thing i seem to remember anymore is my scan date 😂x

Mariehanna · 23/02/2024 11:41

@Tangerin I rang tues got told with dm told could be up to 2 weeks had a phone call from a lovely dm Wednesday morning asking few extra questions told I will have a text once decided as I hung up the phone had a text to say awarded on hold an hour then to find out what rates 😂 could just said on phone lol xxxx good luck!

Tangerin · 23/02/2024 11:41

Oh @bonz2023 that adds weight to that hypothesis then!
I think my scan date is 13/11 as that is what is said when I got the letter but it should be sooner because my deadline was 6th of Nov and I posted them before so they would get there on time

On my calendar I had that I was at week 19 from my calculations but I think maybe I am actually 15 if they did scan it then

Mariehanna · 23/02/2024 11:43

@mummyof3girlsx good luck lovely hopefully hear something in the next few days keeping fingers crossed for u I’m currently waiting on universal credit to veryofy the disability element another painful waiting game x but don’t give up it will definitely be worth it xxx

Tangerin · 23/02/2024 11:44

@mummyof3girlsx I just replied to the scan date. I thought it was before but according to their letter is 13/11. I am hoping a couple of weeks or so...

Tangerin · 23/02/2024 11:52

Oh no @Mariehanna nooo the wait again!!! I know they can't tell you the award on the phone but how do you wait for a letter or the money. I hope I don't have to ring again ever

mummyof3girlsx · 23/02/2024 12:02

@Mariehanna thank you lovely i'll be sure to keep everyone updated x

STEPH691 · 23/02/2024 12:10

Think we are going to need a new thread soon guys. Well thought this might of been the last one. Oh well hopefully next guys 🤞🤞

Marie156 · 23/02/2024 12:14

Do you think it's best to wait for the award letter in the post before asking for the disabled and carers element to be added to universal credit? I called for the forms on 02/10 and had 20 weeks back payment Wednesday

Coffeeandcrocs · 23/02/2024 12:21

Just got off the phone - scan date of 17/11, been told to expect a decision around 21st March which would make 18 weeks.

MrsW12 · 23/02/2024 12:25

I called for a form for my younger daughter yesterday and asked how long the wait was as the moment for existing claims and he said 18 weeks. I said should I ignore the 15 weeks as stated in my letter and he said yes 🙄. Thought I had a matter of days left to wait but looks like I need to add another 3 weeks onto that now 😩

Amyz123mummyto3 · 23/02/2024 12:36

Edited

Hopefully you won’t be waiting much longer! Did you call in for forms? when you ring for the forms do you get a deadline to send them back in then? I printed mine offline, but seen a few people saying they were late sending them back wasn’t sure what that was all about. Xx

Ha ha, yes. Just makes it easier for everyone to keep track of the messages and threads if they're used until full. (Plus might reduce the number of threads until I get an answer 🤣)
