Been awarded today. Scan date 20/10. Really happy been a long 8 years to get my daughter diagnosed

Scan day 26/10 still not with decision maker told it’s taking 19 weeks so should no by the end of the first week in march

@TamGirl89 No there was just a payment in my bank this morning from dla. Hopefully not much longer for you ☺️

@Cazza0607 i reakon you will know before that ive come to the conclusion they give dates longer than whats expected so people dont call up and they will already have had there decision by the date they say x

my anxiety is through the roof with the wait😩 currently on hold 34mins, ringing to ask if received additional evidence an also ask for a possible update 🤞🏼

The whole system does really need an overhaul, being on hold for roughly a hour is awful let alone the waiting times for a decision! Hopefully they will eventually change it too online, and you can update your claim with evidence etc by upload or just to check for an update. Not like this journey isn’t hard enough 😞
