DLA wait times August 2022

Hi all,
Just following on from the previous thread - apologies if anyone else has already started one.
Sent our renewal claim in, scan date middle of May.
Phoned on Thursday and was told that our claim had been renewed on 18 August, awarded the same as previous - HRC and LRM. Such a relief for it to be all sorted out.

I was told working on middle of September 15,16 she said to me will be other three weeks i dnt understand Wye there saying different things to all of us

@Oilytoe90 did they tell you this week that they were working up to the 21st?x

Yes sorry. The lady said they are working on scan dates up to 22nd this week. My date is 23rd 😭 but she said mine will be looked at next week x

I'm on week 15 now. This will be the 4th time I have called them, currently on hold waiting to be put through now.

Well I was on hold for 45 minutes waiting to get through. Its being looked at TWO DAYS BEFORE its due to expire! Personally I think that's disgusting! Scan date beginning of June and his current award expires 30th September.

Let us know how you get on. I’m tempted to call today but realistically It’s probably not going to be looked at until next week so I’m going to call next Friday, my scan date was 27th x

No changed for me. Told me mine will be looked at next week then another week for a decision 🙄😡

sounds like they just have had a lot of claims submitted between mid June and end of June as the waiting time is getting longer it’s looking like 15/16 week wait for a decision

That's ridiculous why would you have to wait another basically 2 weeks it's unfair xx

@Oilytoe90 I would ring again on Monday because some people have had decisions made with the same date as you! Also they make decisions over the weekend as well x

Don’t stress they told me another week and my decision was made the date after they told me that. Xx

I am so glad I found this, was thinking our application had been lost! We have a scan date of June 24th. I sent my daughters draft ehcp as evidence with the forms she was awarded 25 hours of 1:1 support which has since increased to 28.5 but school are pushing for 31, I should hear back about this on Monday. Does anyone know is that something I need to let dla know about? I don’t want to call adding info if it makes no difference and worried it could delay things further 🤪

They would ask for it on paper. I don’t think that will make a difference I sent my sons ECHP and his neurodevelopment referral. That was enough he got HRC and LRM xx
