DLA wait times August 2022

Hi all,
Just following on from the previous thread - apologies if anyone else has already started one.
Sent our renewal claim in, scan date middle of May.
Phoned on Thursday and was told that our claim had been renewed on 18 August, awarded the same as previous - HRC and LRM. Such a relief for it to be all sorted out.

Rang today got a scan date of the 11th August said could be a couple more weeks as there on the beginning of august now good luck anyone waiting it's like torture

There’s been a couple commenting on other forum I’m on that people on A DLA Facebook group have been awarded with 3rd/4th august now x

I rang this morning (scan date 4th august) ….she said mine is on the pile for the weekend overtime team to look at tomorrow 🤞although when I rang Tuesday they said I would have a decision by Friday ….I’ve been told to ring back on Tuesday if I’ve not heard by then x

Scan 05/08 no news will be calling Monday I hope ours was on “the pile” too

I phoned today and they told me they are on the 3rd of Aug currently

This thread is so useful. First time application and a scan date of 16/09 so it looks like we might be waiting a bit longer. They have requested and returned DS’s birth certificate within that time.

They received my application 9th August and I haven't heard anything yet x

Got a text msg my child has been awarded my scan date was 9th august

Is it different for people in Scotland? I'm still waiting got a case manager from July 27th

Well, I had a letter today apologising for the delay in their decision, but no further info. Has anyone with a September stamp heard anything?

My ds stamped the 11th aug and it's currently with the case manager and waiting for a decision.

Hi does anyone know how long it takes UC decision maker to award the back dating please

I've phoned today and they've said they've sent a letter out. Do you normally get a text first if you've been awarded.

I didn't but they told me over the phone that my ds had been awarded are you the one named on the paperwork

Yeah I am, I asked if I could find out but they said I wasn't allowed to be told.. he said I had to wait on the letter

Just seen your previous post it could be the fact your in Scotland I'm in England so they might have a different protocol
