Someone on Facebook got awarded from 28 April! The 'done in order' claims are a nonsense!

I've just seen this 😒 really annoys me, I know it's not the persons fault but the DM's! 'Oh instead of picking up one that really needs to be done I'll start on later dates'🤦🏻‍♀️

Received a text just now
“We've decided your child qualifies for Disability Living Allowance. You don't need to contact us about this. We'll send you a letter with all you need to know. If you don't get this within 2 weeks please contact us.”

Iv just rang because ethe man yesterday wasn't very helpful anyway 🤷‍♀️ been told they are working from the 10th up to 13th right now and my sons is 13th and currently with case manager. She told me if I havnt heard anything in a week call back, that's better than 3/4 weeks the man said yesterday 🤣

I’m not going to ring up, last time I was on hold for 50 mins!
At least I know she’s getting something. I should get the first payment in a few days, is it usually 3-5 days after a text?

Iv been lucky when I have rang only waited around 30 minutes for them answer I usually do the dishes why I'm waiting 🤣

Not sure how long takes for payment, been years since I did the initial start of a claim. Years ago you used to get a letter before payment telling you the date it would be in bank, they seem to be super slow now with sending letters out.

Just rang again.. on hold 30 mins.. had a really lovely helpful man but still no decision!😩😩😩 I'm so fed up.. obvs he said you're near the end of the road now, your claim is with an actual human being and it's just a case of when this DM picks it up and makes a decision, may get a text/may not but should be any day now depending if they need any more evidence or if it's straight forward with what I've sent in.. wish they could tell you what number you are in the que 🤣🤣🤣

I caved and rang, 47 minutes later she’s got HRC and LRM. I am absolutely sobbing here! I was expecting LRC and no mobility. Awarded for 3 years 🥲

Hi I’m very new to all this, we sent our dla claim form signed for just over two weeks ago and not received anything saying they have received it. (I know they have because it was signed for) Is it worth me calling? I really don’t want to have to fill the form in again

I found an excuse and rang. Nothing new to report here other than they are working on renewals up to 18th July and I should ring back Monday.

Waiting for a renewal for my son, scanned 10th may apparently went on the case workers desk on the 1st June. What's the waiting times been? X

I called to check mine had been scanned in. I did get a letter eventually but it was so many weeks after I'd sent it
