Has anyone tried calling today?
the I hold music cuts off at 15.06 mins, but not the call. I’ve rung 3 times now, currently sat seeing if it’s just the on hold message that’s the problem?!
(form scanned on 8th feb was with decision maker last Monday)

I got cut off at various waiting times yesterday, but managed to get through with about 25 mins wait today.

Momof2soonmomto3 · 20/04/2022 14:46

@Clairewright010 did you have any luck?

My daughter’s new claim was scanned 10 Mar and yesterday I sent some extra evidence and I’m hoping that gets scanned before it goes to a decision maker. Anyone know if that is likely?

Momof2soonmomto3 · 20/04/2022 16:04

Yes you should be fine as I'd say you probably still have about 3 weeks left before it reaches DM and it takes 2 weeks (usually less) for extra evidence to be added to your claim :)

Sorry if this is really stupid question but how do you know when they get scanned, do you get a letter?

Jemma20198 · 20/04/2022 16:37

Hi does anyone know when you should receive your payment when awarded? . Awarded beginning of last week and have no updates since. Wondering is it a particular day or date they normally send it to you on? thanks

Momof2soonmomto3 · 20/04/2022 16:43

@doadee you should get a letter but if its over 2 weeks ago give them a ring and see if they have received it :)
@Jemma20198 its usually 3-5 working days from reward notice, they usually release as soon as you are awarded and you get the letter after that, you will be back dated to the day you rang for the forms as long as you sent it back within the time frame x

I saw you were asking about ages, my son is just over three but others in my support group got it under 3 for autistic children (not all had formal diagnosis)

My son was diagnosed at 2 but this seems quite unusual for most local authorities.

Jemma20198 · 20/04/2022 16:50

Thank you for this. They received form from me at start of February And awarded last week they told me over the phone

Momof4boyos · 20/04/2022 16:53

@nurodivergantparent Great news! Thrilled you can now financially support your lil boys needs x

Marzal · 20/04/2022 16:59

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to make a decision when it’s with the dm? Isit done that day they have it? Mines with them today so wondering if I’d know by tomorrow

Momof2soonmomto3 · 20/04/2022 17:09

@Marzal that's what I have heard but can take up to a week if they need to call anyone like schools etc.. And depending on how much evidence is sent too

Jemma20198 · 20/04/2022 17:16

Monday nearly sure and if not then Tuesday of last week

Momof2soonmomto3 · 20/04/2022 17:20

If you don't receive a payment friday chase it up, obviously bank holiday would of delayed it a little though so if you take those two days off I'd say Friday you should definitely should have received :) please keep us updated x

Hi, I put in a new claim which was received on 11th Feb. I phoned for an update yesterday and was told it was approved on the Monday (18th April). Still haven’t received a payment though, hoping it will be in soon

Clairewright010 · 21/04/2022 08:34

Well my wait is over, there is money in my bank this morning. Good luck everyone still waiting xx

I’ve just got off the phone to them. (25mins on hold)

I sent my daughter’s extra information by special delivery on Tuesday, it was received yesterday and scanned onto the system yesterday.

He also said that that new claims are taking 9 weeks to get to the decision maker, and then are expected to be with them for up to two weeks before a decision is made.

We are currently on week 6 so that’s another 5 weeks of waiting.

Momof2soonmomto3 · 21/04/2022 12:42

Iv currently been on hold for 15 mins thought I'd phone today as I'm mega busy tomorrow 😫 so anxious at the moment, hopefully get some good news today x
