@April202 hopefully not too much longer for you now, the closer it comes the more anxious I feel now knowing that any day now it's our turn with the DM. The wait is long however this thread has definitely kept me going and knowing where they are with dates and seeing the positive posts being awarded. Fingers crossed for some good news over the next week.

April202 · 28/05/2022 08:15

Scanner20 thankyou I so hope we get answers soon .think because three ago I hardly had evidence school was not supportive it made it worse this time I got more evidence peadtrican stuff and also stuff school got in place toom till last year for them say actually you were right to listen so on process adhd recognised social emotional and ot spd and movement issues and on melatoin now too sleep issues so I hope I've sent enough this time

Nicky80catri · 29/05/2022 15:20

Anyone had any news for march 18th yet. I have still heard nothing x

Laurelharper · 29/05/2022 16:54

No I have not, I did phone Friday and they said it's with a decision maker. I'm quite worried now as not had a text over the weekend like alot do so I think it will be a no. I didn't have alot of evidence at all only proof of referrals and a school letter. I'm going to be truely gutted for my daughter if they say no as the extra money could really help her. If they could watch a day of our life's then she would be awarded. Good luck everyone

Nicky80catri · 29/05/2022 16:57

@Laurelharper same Hun. Sent camhs referral and that's it as don't have much evidence although I am supported by the school. My daughter could really do with the money to help her anxiety problems. I feel like we are going to get a no aswell x

Ltb17 · 29/05/2022 17:11

@Laurelharper that's all I sent for my first child's claim, he was awarded hrc. Fingers crossed for you

For my second child my scan date is 23rd march, I haven't called once for this one, checking bank at 9pm each night tells me Grin

Laurelharper · 29/05/2022 17:33

Basically my daughter Is one of 5 and she rules the house, we literally have to work our lives around her, I strongly believe she's autistic and adhd and sensory processing disorder, maybe more. I haven't had a proper night's sleep since she was 2 she's now 7,melt downs are awful and so much triggers her it's getting worse. She strongly masks at school but because she does that it makes life alot harder for me as she's awful when 3pm comes, every teacher until now have looked at me like I have 2 heads when I try explain how she is at home but luckily her new teacher has a autistic child herself could see right through harper masking and has really supported me and got her a referral for a piedatrian. We can't have family days out with harper as she refuses to come or 9f we do make her come it's all too much for her and she has terrible meltdowns and then that ruins the day for her siblings. I feel as parents it's such a fight to be able to get someone to listen to us when we believe our children need help. I hope we all hear soon and that it's good news for all of us x

Nicky80catri · 29/05/2022 18:03

@Ltb17 fingers crossed we will hear something soon I will let you know.
@Laurelharper hope you get the outcome you are wishing for hunni

Mum2Two91 · 29/05/2022 18:33

Can anyone help with MR after change of circumstances. DLA reasons for denying HRM is they feel my Son’s refusals to walk are his choice. I’m waiting for the complex needs team and his Paediatrician to write up a letter as he is awaiting Autism and ADHD diagnosis. Has anyone recently won an MR?

Melb1986 · 30/05/2022 09:12

Claim dated 18th March just call n no decision has yet been made . So the worry goes on .

Pmp1315 · 30/05/2022 09:39

I am awaiting a response from a MR, out first claim was just refused. The person i spoke to on the phone said they are taking 2-3 weeks and they may phone to speak to me beforehand. Sorry i couldn't be much help. But hoping for a positive outcome for you. X

Jstir · 30/05/2022 09:44

I've just received a text to say my son has been awarded DLA (he's autistic) but they haven't said how much, I've just got to wait for a letter. Only took 16 weeks 🙄 at least it will be backdated, won't it???

Nicky80catri · 30/05/2022 09:55

@Melb1986 same scan date as me. I am scared to phone Hun 😂🥺 x

Ltb17 · 30/05/2022 09:56

I've been fine not phoning this time round but today I'm fighting with myself not too. I know it seems pointless as I'm a few days after you guys so it's not likely been done yet but I still want to phone lol

Elizabeth1412 · 30/05/2022 09:58

Iv just got a message to say my son qualifies but not what it is he's getting and a letter will follow its been 16wks for his

Jstir · 30/05/2022 10:09

Elizabeth1412 It's just ridiculous!

April202 · 30/05/2022 10:30

Ltb17 · 30/05/2022 10:31

Elizabeth1412 · 30/05/2022 10:33

Jstir it is isn't it my other two already received those one hrc and mrc both lm all 3 scanned the same day and still had to wait few weeks for the 3rd
One boy asd adhd ocd
One boy asd and adhd
My girly adhd
Two of them I received letters for to say they got them the other I didn't and the last one I got a text for to say he qualifies but the others I didn't
I don't get how their system works to be honest but im glad they are finally sorted

ParentingPDA88 · 30/05/2022 10:33

I’ve just spoken to an advisor who said that today they are working on claims from March 21st

Jstir · 30/05/2022 10:36

Elizabeth1412 Their system is abysmal. Yes, at least we know it's finally sorted 👍😊

April202 · 30/05/2022 10:48

It not Evan yes or no I'm trying stay positive but I'm preparing my statement ready for mra hoping not going to be that decison but think if I'm prepared better on a plus it was dated last Sunday so are they actually working weekends then 🤔
Think system should be they look sooner to see if it 70% no let you no sooner us parents / carers have to fight so much as it is this system should made easier that my rant over haha

Ltb17 · 30/05/2022 10:51

@April202 that letter is sent out to everyone around the 8 week mark. They are working weekends at the moment to get through backlog but you're unable to call them over the weekends the phone lines are closed is just decision makers working

April202 · 30/05/2022 10:57

Ltb17
Thankyou

Just so want call um say hurry up lol 😆

Twinmummyanda6yearold · 30/05/2022 11:00

I'm only 7 weeks tomorrow, scanned 12th April and I'm already growing impatient 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 so god knows how people feel waiting 10 weeks+
