@Edsgirl I'm the exact same it's a really long wait hopefully next time we apply it will be transferred to social security as there take over on the 22nd in scotland and said they it will be easier to apply and and won't take as long any luck Its just anxiety because you don't know if your getting it and the longer you wait it the longer your mind starts thinking your not eligible but fingers crossed Its done by next week the waiting games exhausting 😪xx

My child’s form was scanned on 12th July. I rang yesterday and was told to wait another 3-4 weeks but then got a txt saying my child had qualified today! I’m not going to ring again as was on hold for almost an hour yesterday. How long after the text would you expect payment and letter?

Aww that's great news I don't know if use felt the same as me it just daunting not knowing I think someone should look at your proof at the beginning and you should be told if you have sent enough proof or if they need send more it would make the wait less bad I think x

Its awful waiting especially when they don't keep you up to date i only had 1 letter to say sorry its taking so long i didn't get any letters when they got the forms or texts or anything not even when it was awarded it. Its so stressful i feel for anyone waiting x

@mumof5babies my form was received on the 14th July and I had to call them on the 27th to see why I hadn't had a text or a letter of acknowledgement it was 2 mins after that call I got a text saying they recieved it on the 14th I just think they could make it a bit easier for us our life's are already stressful enough if they just sent the odd letter/text to keep us informed there calls would properly go down x

Oh i know hun. They got mine on the 8th August i sent special delivery i called them after 4 weeks because I'd not heard anything they got it 8th scanned in on 9th. Think they need an app where people can check themselves it will save them time on the phone and they'd get through claims in half the time x
